Well as there is no football on we were going to launch this at the end of the season but now seems as good a time as any, especially with St Patricks day coming up

Along with the DemBlades lads I've been working on a few videos looking back at some of our most memorable matches.

Got a few more in the works which I'll start work on soon but here's the first one a bit earlier than originally planned

Let me know if there are any games we should do.

Great stuff.

Underrated Roger Nilsen moment. Never got a goal for us – this was the only time he hit the back of the net for us, and it was a great pen.

Wasn’t it Katchuoro who hit the post in the first game, not Gareth Taylor?

I always remembered it as being a Katchouro miss late on against Coventry. In fact as I watch that the Taylor labelling by the commentator made me think another chance for Kat-man was going to follow it. Think the commentator is wrong.

Think the commentator might have it wrong but it’s hard to get good quality footage.

BBC match report from the time says it was Katchouro:-

“And they nearly went all the way thanks to a late howler by City's 40-year-old keeper Steve Ogrizovic, the only survivor from 1987.

His clearance was charged down by substitute Petr Katchouro, but with an open goal at his mercy the Belarus striker tried to be too precise and Ogrizovic lunged back to deflect the ball behind off a post.”

Having watched the footage a bit while putting it together I still don’t know how Nicky Marker wasn’t sent off!

Just brilliant, I was ok kop that night and it was mental.

on another note I grew up playing with mitre ultimax, mitre delta premier league and the likes. Holdsworth smashes a worldy with the mitre premier leagues as well. Who needs modern football when skill and technique would still allow you to bang em in looking amazing!!!

I love too that he looks absolutely shocked the penalty was given when it was as clear a pen as you’re likely to see.

Katchouro was on the bench that game and came on in the 81st minute. Commentator said Taylor as well I think.

it was definitely Katchouro who was in the race with Ogrizovic. I was there and remember it well. Ogrizovic attributed his being able to get back to having given up smoking a few months earlier.

That was more or less the last thing that happened in the game. The Kelly save happened before it, I think, and the video is out of sync.

Cheers S6, was was on the kop that night, mental, got back home and my mum had been switching between radio 4 and radio Sheff, during the game, "I couldn't bear to listen to the penalties", she still had some sight left in her right eye and could make out the big grin on my face, her next words were, "right kettles in kitchen and coffee in Cupboard"...
Cheers bought back a very happy memory

I wrote a piece of GCSE English coursework about that replay. The only thing I can remember from it was “this time the red and white waves crashed onto the pitch”. The teacher asked me if I’d copied it out of a magazine!

The 1915 FA Cup Final would be great: would love to know where United fans drank before the game, what the atmosphere was like and if everyone was stood up or not. Thanks in advance!

(seriously though, enjoyed that!)

cheers for posting great to watch again
great night made all the more sweeter by beating that little gremlin Strachan !

T'old Bobby always cool from the spot - did he ever miss one ? don't remember him doing
Love Alan Kelly - absolute legend for us

I wonder how many of these big games over the years CW was at ?! obviously the picture came out of him at the Palace end of season game but i reckon he has been at plenty of others when he had chance
would love to hear him talk about all these past big games and his views/ stories etc on them
maybe he should do a few more 'One of our own' Podcasts !
