Reminds me of when I first moved down here, regarding pancake eating, everyone just has them as a pudding with jam, syrup, chocolate spread. When I asked for mine with gravy, everyone just stared as if I'd just farted in church.
....or with sugar and vinegar (mouth now watering at the thought).

Pity to spoil it with the EU thing when it’s becoming so increasingly obvious that Dem Likkelenglander Breaksiteers got it disastrously wrong.

Treacle on Yorkshire puds urrrrgh you must be confusing them with pancakes. We always had them on their own with gravy before Sunday dinner as is the proper way. You can have em with the roast I suppose but treacle and jam is just plain wrong.

Well, I do try my hardest to inform.

And you amused too kind sir; well done!

Not overly impressed with the avatar change. I have a horrible feeling it is some kind of tilt toward the 'Festive Season'. If so, and as it is only mid November, you are a twat. If not, you are a top blogger and Blade.

Maybe it was a joke?

You need to be careful with that grammatical device on here. I tried a 'joke' in 2015 and still get hate mail.

Re Avatar - you've reminded me that I uploaded wrong 'un! Ta. And no, it's not Xmas related at all! Well, perhaps tangentially insofar as there may be some dem blades xmas treats in store.

I'll keep that in mind and stick to the analysis then.

My DAd always had a Yorkshire pudding for a starter and then main meal followed by Yorkshire pudding with jam on ......all on same plate ! Lovely jubbly....

Not at all. I really like your stuff and have said so frequently. Contrary to popular belief I dabble in a little wry humour myself now and then.

Leaving the EU will be Comédie Noire, especially for most of those who voted for it. Oh how they’ll laugh as they lose their employment rights, standard of living and, ultimately, their jobs and homes. We can still wave dem flags, though...

Cheers love, I was only clarifying that I was not not brexity, but neither am I not.

Seeing as this thread's turned into a debate about the biggest question facing Yorkshire (sweet or non-sweet puddings), let's not allow it to turn it into the second biggest question, breakfast...I mean...
