Don't get me wrong, Baxter was poor second half. He was shite. He was unfit and as I've said there's no excuse for the lack of fitness at this time of the season.

That said, he was one of the better players, but isn't that more to do with his team mates being awful too?

As for Sharp, he's a trier. I like him but watching him today:
First half: ran around with the dire Sammon waltzing and neither connecting. Sharp ended up out wide too often for a central goal poacher. The width allowed breaks from Baxter through the middle.
Second half: ran around. As the main striker he was rarely in the middle and worked hard. Gave no support to Adams and Adams needed that experience striker to guide him in a 4-5-1 with Baxter and Adams in behind. Baxter didn't nothing and Adams looked lost, the more this continued the more sharp ran around...

I think Adams is beyond guidance ,I don't think he has a clue about tactics or positional play and just makes it up as he goes along ,sometimes this unpredictability comes off sometimes it doesn't. I would guess without knowing him he isn't the sharpest tool in the box ,but he wouldn't be on his own.

I daren't say anything about Baxter as I sound like a broken record ,but everything was there today ,including losing the ball cheaply leading to a goal. He plays we have no shape ,he plays we concede goals ,he plays we lose ,get rid of this overweight bag of shit and his technically best player myth ,complete piss taker of our club ,one of the worse players we have had the misfortune to employ.

AGREE x million. Its like having 10 players. Not what we need in this division despite occasional almost accurate shots.

Not me ,not as a player ,and not today ,just in the brains dept. He definitely needs guidance though ,I do think Clough and his backroom were better for him than Adkins though.
