Was going to post at half time that i hoped that the Derby game wasn’t going to repeat itself - and it did. Good control but, as Wilder himself will probably say, it’s no good playing well and losing. Despite our good play we didn’t threaten much and unfortunately the best chance fell to Woodburn, who is yet to impress.

Washington?

Don't think we played anywhere near as well as at FLDC (first half). That was more of a Birmingham at home with a dash of Bristol away performance but Forest aren't as dangerous.

Quarter chances were all we had. Unlucky to concede because the defence was pretty solid but they had some cutting edge, we didn't today.

Did you mean Woodburn, Traffs?

Still time to edit to make brom look a little odd :)

Three or four players not at the races today and the final ball wasn't there. Mcgoldrick plays the number 10 role well when we are not desperately searching for a goal, but he slows it down too much when we are chasing the game, gives a defensive team like Forest time set back in.
I didn't feel against Forest, Derby or Bristol that we would nick a goal in the last 15 mins.

Thanks for the correction guys, watching it on a (possibly illegal) Facebook link does have its downsides! And now that I know that it was Woodburn, I’ll be more critical - he did nothing after coming on apart from giving away possession, committing a needless foul and missing our best chance of the 2nd half!
