Not what Wilson thought. He said how the first one is a booking was beyond him. What pisses me off more is all the timewasting we have had to put up with that has gone unpunished yet we do it allegedly once and are punished

Maguire should only get a one match ban, similar situation with Shane Lowry last year, he pulled a player back who was through on goal, and pretty sure he only got a one match ban...

Think you;re right. Dodgy card was the 1st yellow and I don't think you can appeal a yellow even if it results in you getting a red later. Second offence deserved a card imo. Would have been better if ref was more consistent but can't appeal that either. We've basically got to take the punishment and get on with it. Collins and Taylor hopefully back Tuesday (Taylor is a cert from what he's been tweeting), so with Ertl also available it's just the right back spot and I would expect one of the reserves to step up for that. Could still do with cover on the bench but might just have to gamble seeing as it's just one game.

With regards to Morgs it's all gone quiet on that front. Taylor had been turning out for the reserves for a while even though he'd not been on bench, but not heard anything about Morgs for a while. I know he's not fit but does anyone know at what stage he's at? Is he even training yet?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if David Weir turns out to be the emergency loan solution. Yes, he's headed to Everton as part of the coaching staff there, but it's not a key role, he'd probably be keen for some games, and he knows the squad from his extensive period training with us. The sort of experience he can offer would have been ideal at a game like today.

You we didn't have a defender on the bench, well we had Ertl who is versatile. With only 5 subs you don't get much choice. I can understand why people are pissed today and the ref had a shocker and everything. My gripe is that if Evans passed every now and then we would have put this to bed before any of the bad shit happened. Today is hopefully the kick up the arse that they new need. They have to get it back stick together now

The kick up the arse was last Sunday. Does anyone really know if Morgs will be back?
