Decent places to eat near the Lane

If you like spicy food, and don’t mind a walk, there’s a great place where Queens Road meets London Road. Just a bit up from Boots Opticians and past the TV Shop. Not the kebab place but a proper Asian deli next door. I have had lovely Asian breakfast and stuffed parathas there in the morning. Don’t expect quick service though, it’s just two women cooking it all in a pan on the stove.

Great food and a good price.

Yes, that’s it! Last time I was there, I had Asian breakfast, and two Muslem women ordered English Breakfast, (which they also do by the way) - we all looked at each other as the food came and laughed.
