Sir,
May I respectfully remind you that there are Blades men and women everywhere. This means that after an absolutely feckin stonkin mashing of the pigs that we fancy a decent and chilled Champagne. After 6 pints of Jaipur in the local student drinking den, whilst seeing perhaps the finest one team pig demolition ever, I waltzed (on air) to your Kingsmead store in Canterbury.
Imagine my shock and dismay that there was nothing chilled at all. I even noticed that your Champagne selection was equally of the pretty common or garden variety.
May I suggest that, this season, you invest in a small chiller cabinet and improve your range and quality of Champers. Simple stuff ain't gonna cut it this year, as my Dear Mr Sainsbury, the Blades are going up and your Champagne sales will make you believe it....
I would also advise any of your stores in the Euston or St Pancras area to create a small but significant area of quality and chilled Champagne for the Blades travelling through. The small investment in a decent area will pay dividends in this the 50th year of our Lord Wilder...
