It's about time we got used to it mate. How many points has this tec cost us to date?Scrap the fu-king thing i say.Just like last time we were in the prem it stinks.I thought VAR and Goal Line tec would protect us from dodgy decisions I was wrong.
In 2013 there was no VAR or Goal Line monitoring today there is thats why fans are upset about it.The fact that someone working the VAR is actually sat there watching it is the issue. If it is not going to be used to correct howlers like this why bother with it.The whole point of the game is to score goals if that is not allowed to happen why are we bothering? The fact that it could cost the club millions and also force another club to be relegated is of huge importance.I can see big trouble ahead if Villa keep up and send someone else down because of the point they have pinched .All because some one sat on their arse can not be bothered to inform the ref that he has missed a goal.If VAR is not used for such important issues as putting the score right why do we bother with it.Basic stuff which could bite the FA arse in a couple of months time.
Think you've hit the nail on the head with this BB but not sure the VAR officials would care if they got stick for stopping the game, they don't seem to give a shit when they are lampooned for delaying a game over ten minutes to give a nano mm offside against a team playing the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool. They won’t have been briefed on it because nobody expected it to happen. If they’d delayed the match for five minutes and then realised it wasn’t quite over the line they’d have been hammered by all and sundry for fucking around.
I don’t like ‘defending’ officials or VAR but it’s a lot easier with hindsight. When I saw it I assumed initially it hadn’t quite crossed the line. It was only after several replays and eventually an angle that showed it had that I realised we’d been had over. I’m still pissed off but I can see how it happened.
Me the same, it's just favouring the big clubs just like the bent refs of the 80s. Lads at var headquarters will be big time Charlie spurs, man utd, and arsenal armchair fans, and that's the problem... Bias..
Are we really saying the var team haven't seen the ball over the line? Really!! When everybody around the world saw it...
Stinks like shit, deliberate cheating from the Premier league. Its little old sheff utd... Fuck em
What on earth are you talking about ?Would we be happy if it was the other way round and we let villa score?
I would love to think that we would be that spotsmanlike, but remember how happy we were after the bullshit decision for the wet sham equaliser?
Karma, let's get on with it.
If we let villa score if we had been the beneficiary of the decision would you be happy? What on earth are you talking about ?
How was the west ham decision bullshit ?If we let villa score if we had been the beneficiary of the decision would you be happy?
We took the good when west ham thought they had equalized, another bullshit decision, now let's get on with it.
And do you know.youve spelt blade wrong in your username ?How was the west ham decision bullshit ?
Nothing was taken away as it wasnt a penalty - as VAR confirmed - which should have been utilised for our goal against VillaHow do you explain last night then?
VAR took away a penalty from Manchester United, a beneficial decision for "Little old Sheff Utd".
Nothing was taken away as it wasnt a penalty - as VAR confirmed - which should have been utilised for our goal against Villa
The west ham decision was spot on ,was hand ballYou taking the piss? Spelt blase wrong?
West Ham decision was bullshit, I loved it, but it was bullshit.
Go goad someone else, not interested
In their defence, the B is next to the D on a keyboard..............oh actually hang on.The west ham decision was spot on ,was hand ball
By the way you've spelt blade wrong again
They'd already given a penalty which wasn't, after the screw up in our game to give a penalty for a dive which was worthy of a red it was that pathetic would've had the EPL going back to vote to void the season. No, the penalty was given, VAR did take it away.....Whether you believe it was a penalty or not is irrelevant.
Don't act like the technology only favors the big clubs, when without it, Man United would likely have gained 2 more points last night.
If the whole system was 'corrupt' and 'favored big clubs', VAR would not have overturned the penalty.
I actually agree with him that they’re not comparable. There was nothing against the laws of the game in the Leeds incident, however underhanded it was. We, however, had a perfectly legal goal not awarded. We were far more entitled to get a freebie than they were.
You do not seem to get the point, yes we might have done the same ,who knows but we would not expect to get away with it with goal line tec and VAR plus all the tele cameras. That is the issue how did they manage to get away with it?That is what fans are hot under the collar about which makes some think it smells.Come on fellas, if we were in their position would we really that righteous to put the ball in out own net?
Villa are fighting for their lives and need points any which way. I'd hope we wouldn't deliberately jeopardise a point if we were in their shoes.
