If we go up, Hendo needs to be a priority for us to sign if we're to stay up - even if its just for 1 more season on loan.

Does make me smile that Gunn is pilloried for an afternoon of antics we’ve seen so many times from Henderson this seasonAnd as for him being a cunt; he's no more of a cunt than Henderson - the only difference being one plays for us and one doesn't.
Forgot about that. Basically a bad backpass that he kicks up in the air then palms out when he realises it's drifting in. Did we get away with one there? Should the ref have blown up for him effectively handling a
This was sheer genius on his part.many would call it timewasting .he was effectively running the clock down.Forgot about that. Well Pickford looks like he’s going to make a mistake every game. So I can see why Southgate is looking. Butland isn’t responsible for Stoke’s form and has played for England before, which gives him a head start over Hendo, as well as having bags of PL experience. On the verge of a full England call up according to Southgate. Ahead of Angus Gunn in the pecking order and a call up is imminent.
Bizarre that Butland has been included today with Stoke struggling in 15th place, yet Henderson, in 3rd and umpteen clean sheets is not yet included.
Still, good to know he/we are getting recognition at that level.
Because Hendo’s shithousery has come on leaps and bounds this year whereas Gunn peaked last seasonI'm not sure why he's ahead of Gunn in the pecking order to be honest.
It's have not ofKnow i'm going to get bollocked for this but........ dont think Hendo makes the England squad.
Distribution from goal kicks isn't all that decent and still looks shaky when receiving back passes.. Overall not amazingly talented with his feet for modern day keeper.
Also should of possibly done better with Vardy's goal. There's a reason strikers shoot across the goal, a keeper shouldn't really be beaten near post.
Still miles above Moore tho and can pull out top saves which will inevitably save us some points throughout the season.
Just not at international level in my opinion.... yet
EPLs 5th highest scorer last season, 1 on 1 , at 5 yards, fired up on anti-pigs chanting, scores every time.Talking of Henderson - should he have done better against Vardy for the first goal ?
This is not true as Burnley had 3 keepers in the recent squads and they epitomize hoof and hardworking. The second he goes back to Man U he’s in the England squad. Playing for a set of hardworking hoofers and fighters like us he’s got no chance.
Id say Henderson is probably 5th inline so he has to get past Pickford, Pope and one from Gunn/Heaton.
One of the problems he has is his age too. he still qualifies for the u21, whereas Gunn is 24 in Jan so id assume he no longer does, and id imagine this plays a part in the decision making. age would be irrelevant if he was nailed on undisputed No1 but he isnt

Henderson is not getting in yet because Pickford, Pope and Heaton are ahead of him. He needs to play about 15-20 games, without a big mistake before he starts overtaking Heaton.
Isn't Gunn in the process of being persuaded to switch to the sweaties? That will free up a slot.
£20mil on Deano isn’t a risk it’s an investmentThat save from Cantwell - fucking cat this kid.
If it was a choice of spending £20m on an outfield player or Deano the cat wins all day for me.
Don't think there's a chance we could get him for £20m anymore

Any of those you mention would have been proud of that one. Looks better every time you see it. I hope some of the 'lucky' Norwich fans behind that goal appreciated it, though I reckon they problem think about him in the same way that the Koppites at the Lane think about Angus Gunn!Down the years , the one position in which the Blades have been truly blessed compared to most others is that of goalkeeper .
The likes of Ted Burgin , Hodgy , Kelly , Mel Rees and Tom McAllister were outstanding examples and there are many others worthy of note . I was fortunate enough to watch all of them make some remarkable saves , but the one today from Hendo against Cantwell is up there with some of the best that any of those legends produced .
The word amazing is grossly overused , but in this case is entirely appropriate .
