Think Cuvelier is done, no idea about anybody else. Can't see Maguire leaving TBH now they've released Higginbotham

    BBC Sport's Neil Johnston: "Former Tottenham and Wigan full-back Pascal Chimbonda, who was a substitute for France at the 2006 World Cup final, tells me from Paris that he is still looking for a new club.
    "The 34-year-old played pre-season games for non-League Market Drayton and Colwyn Bay but is now keeping fit with twice daily gym sessions. He says there have been talks with a club abroad 'but nothing concrete'.
    "Chimbonda, who helped Tottenham win the 2008 League Cup, says he is prepared to return to England and would sign for a League Two club 'challenging for promotion'. He says he is not asking for 'huge money'. He is available on a free transfer so he can sign after the 23:00 BST deadline."

Spoke to someone I went to the match with on Saturday and he'd neglected to tell me before that he knows Maguires family really well. According to this bloke the only way Harry would leave at the moment is if he was pushed (Kyles style). He's happy where he is.

So if we aren't skint anymore, highly unlikely.
 
On paper, for the type of full-back our formation needs, a half-decent Chimbinda would be ideal. Sadly, he's barely a tenth-decent Chimbonda - which is why Tranmere, and now non-league teams, have told him to look elsewhere...

This has been mentioned from within the club for a long while now. He's happy at the lane and doesn't want to leave...god knows why! :)

Because he knows he isnt good enough to get in to a championship side.
Heard today that Huddersfield are coming in for him so they must think he is
 
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is another out of contract player currently sat at home on his Playstation.
 
Good player when he was in shape but he carried a bit of weight even when he was playing regularly.

Don't you mean solid? There was a picture of him in a magazine or something without his top on, he made David Haye look flabby.

This feels odd saying this, but... ££££ talks.

He won't sign for us, as he's not a League 1 player, certainly not in his head, but we do seemingly have cash now and Wednesday don't...
 
You can now add Jake Cassidy to that list...

'apparently' for £850k on a 4yr deal.

This happened to be a wind up rumor last window though i recall but that was supposed to be a loan deal
