David McGoldrick

Need to remember he was available for about a 5th of matches last season. That is not a gamble I would take on a 34 year old who's likely on decent wages. Especially not a club that's looking to operate with a smaller playing squad on a reduced budget.
Played nearly half our games (21) but was only available for 9 of them !

Do you work for the BBC 😉.

Does anyone have a league 1 guide for next season that's were we are heading, can't even get a stray cat through the door and let didzy leave. Joke of South Yorkshire now in my eyes
Time for you to go then ?

Ok. Now get your Barry Bannan jimjams on and get off to bed. Alternatively, if you are a Blade, get another line of vim and talc up your hooter.

I can only assume that hecky has a question mark over his fitness.

He spoke highly of him otherwise so no reason to release him aside from that.

A fit mcgoldrick we all know how good he is. Wilder might have the resources to gamble and see how his fitness pans out.

Good luck to him just not against us.

Did no one watch him the last two seasons?

He can't play as a striker because his shooting is terrible and he doesn't have the pace or fitness to play as an attacking midfielder in a team which demands he track back.

I'm not sure what people are complaining about?

He will do a job elsewhere but not how we play.

Let’s not let past glories cloud our judgement here it was 100% the right decision to let him go.

It was if he was running through treacle at points. And let’s not get started on his finishing too. Famous last words I know but he showed all the hallmarks of “legs have gone” syndrome

Good luck to him but not bothered about this one bit, as good as he was his finishing was utter shit so won't be worried facing him.

For all we know he might have a potential re-occuring injury possibility. Point is we need a 100% fit player for the whole season. Middlesbrough can afford the gamble. One things for certain and Hecky knows it full well we cant have another season where we end up nearly putting boots on the groundsman and giving them a No.9 shirt. Didzy got the send off he deserved twice over and will be remembered with pride. One things for certain when we play Boro at home he will get a round of applause if he shows up in a Boro shirt on the bench.

Good luck to him, wish the bloke nothing but the best.

I reckon that commute will do him in though.

Good player 34 injury prone ,good luck .Time waits for no man

A lot of fans wrote didzy off on here last season even after he scored 8 in the prem and was our best player by a million miles

if it wasn’t for injuries he would have still been our best striker by an absolute Mile last season IMO

No doubt he will smash it up at Boro

Ill be placing a bet on boro to win the league
