Disagree, Our Billy was man of the match for me. Drew fouls all over the pitch , ran his heart out and scored.

The nice thing is we have leaders in key positions . There's no sherking of responsibility . The movement and offering for passes is as good as it gets

people calling nto question wilders transfer dealings .
Not necessarily Wilders dealings, but the lack of options up top. Brilliant after 6 games while they are all fresh but let’s see at the end of November. I hope they all keep the same level, but just not too sure they will

Best centre forward display I've seen at the lane in a hell of a long time

Just glided past players like they weren't there
Best player in 2nd half for me. Like you say he seemed to pass players like it was no bother. I couldn't believe how good he was.
For a change I think the fans view we signed him from are bang on.
Great player if he can stay fit.

He looks a great player so far and best free transfer we've signed since fleck. Who said you have to spend millions.

Just to think we got the likes of coutts, fleck, oconell, duffy, Norwood, Stevens, mcgoldrick for a combined fee of what is probably less than £5m.
Less than £3million, that bunch.

I challenge anyone to describe McGoldrick without using the word 'silky'.

That's exactly what he is, skillful and smooth in everything he does and has the intelligence to go with it, more so now than ever with his experience.

He's not surprised me in any way with his ability but the shift he put in was beyond what I expected from him, and made it an outstanding display. He really did put himself about and lead the line, along with Sharp.

If he has a sustained run of fitness, he could be our top striker this season.

That moment in the second half where he received the ball in his own half and glided past 2 of their players with ease was beautiful to watch. The move ended with his shot being saved and probably would've been goal of the season had it gone in. Just hope he can stay fit, it's definitely his shirt to lose at the moment.

Leon is going to have to work hard to get back in the team, McGoldrick and Billy have proven in different ways they should both remain as starters. This competition for places really does push them along, credit to CW & AK for setting us up like this

He has a gold tooth and a fine black beard. Is McGoldrick the embodiment of Captain Blade?

be more worried if thwey looked like Villas forward options

lets stop thinking we will fade , more than any other team will
we are much stronger than last season in terms of back up now
its about progression with our finances and Im rather excited about the progress Wilders achieved

Our current cup team/second team is what makes me hopeful.

Moore
Cranie Stears Bryan
Baldock Coutts(!) Lundstram Woodburn Johnson
Leon Washington

That's not bad that. That team can win games.

Compared to last season when you're looking at Carruthers, injured Ched, Lavery etc

I said at the time (and put on here) that we have finally signed the new Chris Morgan. The type that we had needed for a long long time.

Early days yet, but I'm convinced he will be exactly what we needed. A top centre half.
Thankfully though the Chris Morgan comparison ends abruptly with Egan’s quality distribution.

Didsy, Didsy Cool

Didsy give us a wave, Didsy Didsy give us a wave

Why is he called Didsy again? Haha

If I didn't know him, hadn't seen him before and someone just pointed out David McGoldrick and said he cost us £5m yesterday- I would have said that was an absolute bargain and he could go on to be a world beater.
What a performance, so frustrated for him that he didn't get the goal but I'm sure all that hard work and skill didn't go unnoticed today.

My personal man of the match.
100%
