Brooks for me over AOC

Just because I think Brooks offers a bit more intelligence on the pitch, plus he’s been here before.

Plus he could easily still be recovering his best while AOC is very much going downhill now from his best. Lost the Pace element he once had too.

Personally, I'd prefer the resources are directed to get another CDM as competition for Souza (or replacement if he leaves) and another target man/focal point - the style of play will have to change drastically if Moore is missing for any reason.

While not doubting their ability, I see Brooks and AOC as luxury players while gaps still remain in the spine of the team. Both would be gambles - Brooks due to his ongoing recovery and AOC due to his extensive injury record and to a lesser degree his motivation to still give 100% at Champ level. Either could turn out to be game (or even promotion) winners if things go well but I see both as med-high risk.

Bringing this one back to life - Leeds fan mate saying they're looking at him as he's going to be left out of Bournemouths PL squad and available

I wonder if he'd rather join his old club, managed by the same manager that gave him his professional debut. Or... Roundly hated Leeds.

I'm not obsessed with David Brooks (and I do say this a lot in transfer windows)... But I think there's a chance he comes back. Wilder even mentioned wanting him back a few years ago, maybe the window we signed Brewster, before Brooksy got ill.

Saw Jebbison scored for Bournemouth so watched highlights to take a look and Brooks was involved in nearly everything for Bournemouth. Still such a good player. Would love him back.

Gassama deal might have fallen through (due of course to Chansiri) so Rangers might have to look elsewhere.

I think people need to see how Selles sets up his teams during the pre-season games. It will (hopefully) stop people suggesting players that obviously won't fit it. Cantwell and Brooks are the antithesis of the type of player I expect to be recruited for the wide / forward positions. BBD would actually be a better fit.
