I always thought Brooks was not like this and without speaking to him I've no idea what the motivation was.I know what you mean but I think Brooks maybe likes the idea of playing for Eddie Howe's free flowing Bournemouth, rather than free flowing Sheffield United and obviously the wages tripled or whatever they are is always a factor. I don't blame anyone for taking life changing money, what I don't like is when they say football is their focus, they want to stay here, they want to play, etc. That's what Brooks said yet a few months down the line he changes his mind as soon as some money is flashed at him by some slimy cunt of a new agent. I thought he was better than that and I've lost respect for him.

No, we just trust our manager to make the right decision, based on facts like knowing how much Brooks wants to leave and what offers we’ve actually had for him, rather than agreeing with posters whose opinions are based mainly in supposition and conjecture.

If it's 12 million or more than im happy with that. He's looked a good at times but he's pure potential, rather than anything resembling a player who can put in a shift in every single week, and our entire philosophy is about having playing who can crunch and hassle everyone.

He's good but inconsistent, he could be very good bit he's a luxury we can't afford to faff about with. Good luck to him if he goes but i won't lose sleep over him going for 12m or more. What do you think the club has been doing in the interim? Sitting with their fingers in their ears pretending they can’t hear Rankine or contacting other clubs to tell them Brooks wants out and we’re open to decent offers?
