We heard you the first time you cunt, he has come out just about every day since saturday and said the exact same thing!!

I think Wavey Davey Gravy needs to take a long hard look at Barnsley's medical staff, sending someone home after a head injury who was complaining he had a headache? Now I'm no Doogie Howser or Mark Sloan but even someone with an ounce of common sense would've sent him to get checked out

No, he didn't say anything about it on Saturday or Sunday he spent that time moaning about the Penalty decision, then come Monday went on his one man witch hunt and tried to make it look as if he cared for Hume when saying in every other sentance words related to Compensation.
He doesn't seem to care about Hume just about Money.

Couldn't agree more, here is another quote from him

It's lucky the player is in hospital and not the mortuary," Davey remarked.

He continued: "If he'd gone to sleep, and if his father-in-law and wife hadn't been so caring, we might have lost him.

Does this mean Baaaaaaarnsleys medical staff are not caring, or just bloody incompetent ?

Firstly, welcome to the forum :hello:

What I'm curious to know is... did they let him drive himself home?

I personally think that Davey is kicking up such a fuss to try and avert some of the vitriole which has been directed towards him this season following a below average start to the campaign.

When he was questioned about the possibility of a replacement coming in before Barnsleys next game he said that he hadn't even thought about the game at the weekened. I doubt that is true but if our manager came out with such a comment i would be very worried indeed, especially given the lack of strikers available to him.

Bad injury, happy that Hume is making good progress but ultimately flabergasted by the amount of coverage that the incident has received.

IT WAS A RED CARD - GALLAGHER

FORMER top flight referee Dermot Gallagher believes Sheffield United skipper Chris Morgan should have been sent off for his sickening challenge on Reds hitman Iain Hume.

When asked if it was a red-card offence, Gallagher told Sky Sports News: "I think it was. But if you look where Andy i(D'Urso (pictured)) is s positioned, he's at the other side of the pitch and he's not seen Chris Morgan do that.

"It's a red card every day of the week, but he can't have seen it and the referee has played safe. Andy D'Urso is the best referee in the Football League. He's a top referee and that would not have affected him. He's a very experienced, knowledgeable and talented referee.

"I'm not sure if Morgan will be punished further. The referee has taken the decision it's a yellow card on the day, but in fairness to Andy, he did not see it."

I'm rather glad we're* not joining in this silly and childish mud slinging.

What no-mark could we get to say it wasn't a red card? :D

I vote Oprah Winfrey. She's got about as much to do with it as anyone else.

* We as in the club. Personally, if anyone wants to come and start some childish mud slinging on here, I'm all for it :D

We should realease a statement saying:

Andy D'Urso didn't think the challenege between Chris Morgan and Iain Hume was a red card... And that's the only thing that matters :D

Sickening challenge? The only two things sickening about the whole thing are the injury that Hume sustained - first and foremost - and the amount of tripe that Davey is bleating.

As others have mentioned, I think that he's trying to cover up the fact that his job is on the line, and to take advantage of a situation like that is frankly despicable.

The telling thing is...

It is now four days since the accident/incident (depending on which side of the fence you sit) and the FA and FL have made absolutely no comment about it.

Did Barnsley give Gallagher a signed shirt too? I seem to recall he kindly returned the favour to Everton by gifting them two goals from dodgy decisions one of the last times he officiated one of our games.
