Danny Willett - Sheffield Golfer - Blade or Pig

Sheffield golfer, done well in the first round of the UK open golf.

Important question before I decide if i should support him or not , is he a Blade or Owl.

I watched day 2 at Turnberry in the 1994 British Open (Mrs Silent was living in Troon at the time). I saw Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Gary Player, Seve Ballesteros, Tom Watson, Nick Faldo and Greg Norman. Mark Roe (a Blade and from Dronfield) was there and when he was walking up to the green at one of the holes, he looked at me for a few seconds (two or three times) probably because I was wearing the new SUFC 1994/95 season shirt!

I follow Willett and he never mentions us? I think you are getting mixed up with Matt Fitzpatrick as mentioned above who is a massive blade and has it on his 'bio' as does Root.

All Willet seems to go on about on Twitter is his bloody wife, who looks alarmingly like Zlatan Ibrahimovic with died blonde hair.

Not a great start. Danny is neither Blade nor Pig. He "follows" Liverpool. Matt is indeed a proper Blade.

Definite Blade, Michael Palin. We are mentioned in numerous of his books (one includes a blades badge on the cover). Was also watching one of his programmes the other day in South East Asia and he decked out a Tuk Tuk in Blades stickers.

Palin is a blade he was interviewed on radio Sheffield a couple of weeks back about his childhood in Sheffield and he refers to himself being a blade.
