Danny is from Hackenthorpe, think he played Birley GC when he was younger, now and again he can be seen at Grange Park GC driving range for lessons with Pete Cowen.

Must be a blade. Sufc commercial dept tweeting all he needs is some of our golf range

I have an aunt and uncle who play at Rotherham GC and they've been following his career for a few years, I hadn't heard of him until then, I think he played there for some time, possibly as a junior?

His Dad was the vicar at Christ Church in Hackenthorpe, which is pretty close to Birley. There's a lot in the media about him starting at the local club and I assume that's where he used to go if he lived at the vicarage.

Anyway, Carl Bradshaw is no longer the greatest sportsman Hackenthorpe has produced...

From what I know, Danny had his first lesson at Birley and once his coach and father knew he "had it" signed him up at Rotherham GC.

Sheffield, North Notts, ..., somewhere else in England, ..., ..., Sheffield, ...

His Father and Mother were interviewed by Sky this morning and his Dad says that he used to drop him off every Wednesday at Bondhay Golf Club instead of taking him to School. He picked him up later and took him home. He also said that he would learn more on the golf course than he would have done at school.

"Cricket IS an education," said my dad once as he sanctioned my brother skiving three days of school to watch Yorkshire v West Indies at Abbeydale Park in 1976.

Well how's about this one...

Kevin Mcabe just tweeted him to ask if he wants to buy a club.

I'll get mi coat.

That's just par for the course.
He's invited him to tee.
Sadly he said he prefers 'Eagles.

Yeah but ...

Micahel Palin.

I know it's been mentioned, but ...

pommpey
I'm not sure about Palin.
In an episode from his "Around The World" series, there was one scene where he went for a haircut. To fill the awkward silence that you get when you're at the barbers he said "I see Sheffield United lost again...".
So I still don't know if he's Blade or Pig.
