I always think it’s so amateurish of a professional football club how YouTubers are our source of information and we have the the Prince of Saudi Arabia getting involved init.
As an aside RS and The Star took the side of both McCabe and Wilder. Maybe he’s still unhappy about that?

I agree though, announce things via the official site not through self propagandists.

On Blades Ramble now ...

1) Take over done - official announcement
2) Prince Abdullah coming on to Blades Ramble
3) Des Taylor still here.
4) New investors will back us in January
5) Talked about Cameron Archer, James McAtee and Bereton Diaz as possibles
I skim read this and thought we were signing Cameron Diaz

Didn't listen to it all but wasn't it just BBD and barry mentioned as a possibility with Archer and McAtee talked about in the context of last season?

I can’t see McAtee returning. He’s on City’s bench and it’s a bit of a backwards move for him, he’s done his stint in the championship. I’m sure city want him in the prem somewhere.

I’d take both Archer & BBD but I’m not sure Wilder particularly rated Archer & McAtee that highly.
I dunno, it might do his confidence some good to be playing regularly for a team that’s winning rather than losing

It's here for anyone who wants to watch

Bit disappointed that the Prince is apparently keeping hold of the Hotel, could (down the line) lead to another McCabe style stand-off.
Would have much preferred the assets and land all stayed together.

What would go there instead of the hotel? it would be worse if PA wanted to keep the McCabe plots of land for himself.

A clean club and assets purchase would be for the best.
If the Prince is keeping the Hotel i wouldn't think this would impact the stadium to much.

Archer the New Brewster funny how boro never bothered chasing him

Someone was commenting on the Sheff Utd Way video and is convinced the takeover is off as 39% of the club has been sold to a Saudi Arabian telecoms company, due to be announced on Friday!

I have always assumed this is exactly why the Prince does not talk to those media outlets.

They were all in for McCabe. He hasn't forgotten that.

I’m not concerned who’s taking sides with who. It’s amateur all round. The club has a social media presence, their are media outlets such as Sky sports etc than can be used.

Instead we use YouTubers who couldn’t be more biased (I 100% understand why they are) to spout nonsense that 99% of the time is just spin. I noticed it before Wilder came in, the social media lot where putting Hecky down and building Wilder up.

Is that how shoutbox+ works? I always wondered
Absolutely how it works, Foxy takes all forms of payment, prefers cash, easier to process, but card, Bitcoin, beer, basically anything that he can trade. He wont accept IOU's though. 😂 😂 😂

They did but he was always going to somewhere permanent as they didn’t want to loan him out again. If you remember Leeds owner did an interview slating players that had chosen to join us over them.

I’d take Archer in the championship but he’s not a Premiership player.

All three mentioned players (Archer/BBD/Macca) have proven quality in the championship and would definitely strengthen us - however if promoted we need at least some proven PL players scattered throughout the team. It's a completely different ball game and unfortunately these 3 have been exposed to losing every week.

Even Macca when he plays for Citeh at the moment 😂

slightly disagree regarding archer yes hes more of a championship striker than premier league but given good service i still think he would score in the premier league

BBD an obvious yes, if we could get Archer too it's a definite yes too. Ok, he wasn't great before but he was playing in the PL, in the championship on loan he was immense at Boro. McAtee would likewise be great but can't see that as much as I'd love that yo happen. Sounds promising though. I'd just be happy with BBD returning!
Hmmmm

Archer couldn’t and currently isn’t hacking it in the premier league. BBD was better for us but is doing nothing this season either. This raises the question for me are either good enough for the prem should we get there?

They’d cost plenty, so do we want to spend a considerable amount on two players who might be fine for this level, but not good enough for the prem? For me it’s a bit short termist. Just my twopennorth

I hate Cameron Archer
Never looked like he wanted to be at united and certainly didn't look part of the group
He's got a hard shot and that's about it
Can't hold it up, isn't particularly quick
Shit in the air and very one footed

If he was any good villa would have kept him
And I think Wilder would agree with some of those points, so will be nowhere near him.

Getting back into the prem is the ONLY goal.

Even if we signed a bunch of prem league proven players when promoted we'd still be favourite for relegation and would have massive issues if that materialized.

It’s certainly a goal, it’s certainly not the only goal in my humble opinion. Another goal for me is to not be a national embarrassment every week like we were last time. To show some fight
