Nope, but those costs were there the previous seasons as well, so that’s not further investment. They also released as more players than they have currently signed, although I suspect the new recruits are on higher wages to balance that. It’s not a criticism of the club, I am just trying to make the point that it’s a very small amount.

What “big signings” do we want / need to improve (enhance?) a squad that accumulated 92 (90) points last season? & that has (only) ‘lost’ 2 of its number?
Souza will (likely) be missed but Arblaster returning (replacing) will likely mitigate any ‘loss’
Brewster, for all his endeavour is far from irreplaceable- somewhat ironically it appears Cannon will assume his mantle (in every respect)
+ Barry to ‘compensate’
Loans (mostly underwhelming/ unsuccessful) can (will?) be replaced with loans - the same ‘needs’ (currently) persist - primarily RB / C/H - hopefully with better quality than recruited last season (Choudhury & possibly Rak Sakyi excepted). Seriki & Brooks can (need to) ‘fill part of that ‘void’ + Bindon

I was making a point about our budget was called a Fanny and tgat I was reading too much into it and my wait for the big signings was because I believe there won't be any
