Do not believe anything that comes from that account, he is a well known troll/parody account amongst the Leicester community

Boosted his followers on twitter big time by pandering to Man Utd fans during the Maguire saga
Ah fair enough, can’t say it’s one I’ve seen around on twitter before to be honest👍🏼

Looking for opinions on this lad. Was reading Wilder was in for him in the summer (Leicester fan on a forum). When I read a bit about him it seems likely. Described as hard working, utility player. Defence or defensive mid. It seems they want him to move on in January so the fee won't be huge.

Cheers, searched twice with no results before posting. Thought it was odd there was nothing.

Just noticed I spelt his name wrong that's why.

Thought I’d bump this. In Cadette’s final update, he mentioned that we’d been in for Chris Chambers all summer, were waiting on Arsenal doing some business to make it happen, but that if not Amartey has been lined up as an alternative.

He’s not been used by Leicester at all this season. While he can be a defensive midfielder, his preferred position is centre-back, and given we seemingly had him in mind to go to after Chambers presumably that’s where we saw him playing. Might he be a possible RCB?

Think his contract is up next year?

Might be a cost efficient signing if that’s the case. Can’t say I’ve seen too much of him but sounds versatile enough to be a useful addition.

I assume that means one of our midfielders is on their way then?

He can play CB as well as CDM - could be a long term Basham successor?

If there is anything in this than my guess would be that he would b brought in for RCB. He could play Norwood role also, I guess, but we've already got Berge earmarked for that role and I think he may be more athletic and up and down than Norwood is, therefore, again, more suited to Bash's role.

My uncle lives in Leicester and rates him as does a friend who is Ghanaian! I seem to recall he was really doing well at Leicester and then got injured. H's still only 25 and the prospect of signing a Ghanaian international is just so exciting!

Was up at shirecliffe last December, as was Brown from Barnsley. Expecting a move for both this summer, especially with the reputed budget cuts.

Jacob Brown? Seems as though Burnley fans rate him best on the wing..

He was really highly rated when he signed for Leicester from Copenhagen, about £5/6m if i recall.

Wouldn't we have had to agree deals with their clubs for this to have happened?

Yeah as I said above, the link from Cadette came with the suggestion that he was an alternative to Chambers that we were looking at, which would suggest RCB. The fact we brought Rodwell and Retsos both in to cover the role temporarily would seem to fit this being a priority area for Wilder – doubly so if Basham isn’t going to sign a new deal.

The main reason I bumped the thread really was because Cadette’s intel was rock-solid, combined with the fact that we tend to have targets we will revisit if their situation changes (like Luke Freeman last summer for example) and it’s a clear area we’d want to strengthen next.

Presume so? But not all deals, for one thing or another work out? The January before Cole’s lad was there, all done and dusted apparently, but that broke down at the time, as well

A complete deal doesn’t have to have been agreed, there just needs to have been permission from the other club, which probably suggests that a deal in principle was agreed

It would suggest that, but having been on here nearly a decade, I am always slightly suspicious of new members posting ITK info, then start arguing with other posters and then begin backtracking on their own ITK info on van der Hoorn transfers.

Spot on. One thing that CW doesn't do is give up on targets even if it takes a couple of windows to get it over the line.
