His partner was pretty solid too. Was it Webster?...

Maybe Webster and a good foil for Burn. They coped with us comfortably; Ayling at right back was good going forward too..

Madden's scoring goals for fun at Scunny.

What was he called , that midfielder who scored the clinching goal in the play-off, box to box player who signed for a Prem club that summer, never to be heard of since as far as I know.

I'd have been impressed if he had plucked out a random name and it came off, ie. Edgar, who nobody saw coming until the last minute.

Brayford was always going to sign, it was just a matter of when. Same with McGugan.

Was it Upton or Upson...something like that?

It will end up as season long loan, view to a permanent deal. Loan window doesn't shut tonight, so put it on the back burner and see if we can get someone inperm. If not go back for Burn on loan.

What's the limit on number of loan players we can play? I remember a few years ago we went down the loan road and we were very close to not being able to play our "strongest" side. Don't think we're anywhere near that but just wondered.

And just to quote myself, another Kudos for the first person to come up with the "we will sign someone on X date as that will cover us for Christmas"

I reckon Watford come close to breaking the rules regarding loans two or three years ago if this is the case.

BBC Radio Sheffield and James Shields state that it may be a loan if other targets don't happen.

I believe there is a limit to how many can be in the match day squad is it 5??

Yeah - the four player from one club rule was not in place at the time.

Neither was there any restriction on the number of cross-border loans.

For a player to be eligible on Boxing Day they'd have to sign on or after September 24th.
