To be fair, any two of these would be decent enough:
Bostwick (back in for him), Burn, Fryer, Hammond.

Hammond looks to have fallen through, Fryer and Bostwick looks the most likely right now. I'd only want Bostwick as a back up for Basham though.

That is dependant upon what you know about the bid made and the amount wanted by the selling club. Does it mean we have to offer all our money to one player and severely over value him just to appease some fans who will criticise them for not signing any one. I would keep the fee undisclosed if I was United .....

Hmmm...Fulham paid around £350,000 upfront (rising to £1m) to Darlington....suppose that could be about right...Spammer's were quoted at £4 million awhile back...
