Some people thought our performance 1st half at Arsenal was poor – it wasn’t, but this really has been. We’ve been really bad on the ball, seem reluctant to play down the right, and none of the midfield nor McBurnie getting on the ball. Sharp probably the best of a mediocre bunch. Baldock looks like a red card in waiting.

Personally think at this stage that it might have been better to save Berge till he’s had time to train more with the team.

That ball across the face of goal then, reminiscent of the goal that Aguero scored against us. Teams no that they have very little joy in one on one situations with our back friend, likewise they know that lobbing the ball high into the box won't bring them much joy.

But that ball just in behind on the 6 yard line? We do look quite exposed in these situations. If anything, I am being over picky? Just picking up on it over the course of recent games. I would like to see individual players tasked with picking up the danger men in the box and sticking tighter to them. It seems quite zonal and to be fair, the back three get back fantastically and keep the line. It's just those gaps inbetween players that seem to be exposed by that bit of pace.

That was awful to watch, basically just wasted £22mill on a midfielder and reverted to a Blackwell team just punting balls from back to front. He'll probably be out with a bad neck after this! If there's a strong wind against us then get it on the floor and play football ffs!

Pitch looks like it’s holding water and slowing up our passing game. We are resorting to lumping it.

Palace look handy and Zaha has Baldock tied up in knots, Baldock is going to walk second half for sure!

Worst first half performance I’ve seen in a while!

Cmon Blades we are better than this!

As above, not sure this selection is quite right, feels like we expected palace to just surrender possession and try and hit us on the counter, simply not been the case. Might not have much luck with a poacher and target man up top when we’re being pinned back. The moose needs to be on the pitch imo, to at least make palace run towards their own goal and give them something to think about.

Thankfully my stream was dreadful so missed most of that. Looks to be fixed for second half though so here's hoping!

I said the same but it's not the reason for an awful first half.

No, and I definitely didn’t mean that if that’s how you read it – the other two in midfield are certainly more culpable. Sharp shouldn’t usually be the best person on the ball, but arguably has been that half.

Baldock's going to have to be really careful, he might even need taking off - but we don't really have a sub that can play there - maybe move Basham over and bring Jags on at RCB?

Footybite streams awful today, if anyone has one a bit more stable that would be much appreciated. Cheers

Horrible first half that. Relatively solid at the back apart from Baldock who is lucky to still be on the pitch but we have absolutely no control over the game.

Dont think we have managed more than 3 passes before giving it away. Norwood so sloppy, McBurnie getting out jumped for every header and basically losing every 50/50.

Large bollocking at half time on the way.

Tentative and wasn't anywhere near up to scratch with our performances this year, but we go in at 0-0 with everything to play for after the break.

Our best spells so far this season, tend to come in the second half of games. I have no reason to think that today will be any different......A bollocking at HT and hopefully they will come out with that extra bit between their teeth!

Watched first half, we were prettty average, didnt use minimal possesion we had andv gave ball away too easily. McB hardly had a touch. Need to do much much better or palace will def score

The Moose needs to get on the pitch. pace needed in behind as we are getting overrun in midfield.

Zaha and Benteke winning everything and moving it well. They will score unless we close them down better.

Also Turkish Chanel TRT Spor is perfect if you have access to it.

Our matches this season have had fewer goals than any other team in the league with Palace being the next fewest.

It was always nailed on as a 0-0.

Similar to some of our other recent matches.

Poor In possession but fortunately we are excellent when out of possession.
We don’t look like scoring but don’t look like conceding either.

We don’t seem the same team without McGoldrick But I’m expecting a big improvement 2nd half....far too cautious.

Berge doesn't look too bad but he's making a lot of runs that the team just aren't picking up, needs more time to integrate.
