To be honest, my season ticket and loyalty points may very well put me in with a very good shout of getting a ticket, but I'll be passing. I'll let someone else go.

League Cup and FA Cup ties with 5-10,000 in a half-open ground have been soul-destroying enough over recent years, and I've no interest in besmirching the memory of all the proper days at the Lane by enduring some awful nonsense with 2,000 fans dotted around watching a glorified training ground match. It's not football.

Good for the lower leagues, though.

Although I agree with everything you just said, it's still better than watching it on TV with fake crowd noise, for the 22nd game in a row. It's properly doing my head in now.

Went to watch Hallam with 300 people there and it was a good atmosphere.

We take around 4,000 plus to away games and create a good noise

Looking at the latest 150-300 per 100k table of Covid-19 cases ... all South Yorkshire cities/towns listed in this with substantial drops (except Barnsley at 302 and dropping).

Expect we’ll be in tier 2 so 2,000 fans allowed for the Leicester game on 5/12 unless club deem otherwise.

Any number is better than the 0 we currently have, it's up to all supporters lucky enough to attend to behave responsibly and prove we can be trusted with increased numbers.

Will kop be open? Singing section in BLUT? Not worth it without either of these.

The papers have started to stir the shit - proposals appear to be.........no singing, no shouting, no alcohol.

These proposals are from the premier league apparently called "Covid Code of Conduct"

Fans are apparently going to have to sign up to this proposal when BUYING a ticket ie: terms and reference.

Now that would be interesting..........

No singing has been part of the deal in the countries that let crowds back in previously I think as it projects particles. be masked up silence

Last game with fans In

Get behind them they need us more than ever

Accepted, our club does need noisy fans, we make a difference - except fans won't be able to sing - The premier league are apparently wanting sanctions if the terms of reference decided upon are broken.

There won't be signing - the proposals for fans to go back in grounds is aimed at giving clubs income and it's particularly aimed at L1 downwards - it's not about freedom of fans to sing - sadly.

What about shouting "gerritchangedwilder" or "yerwankmcburnie"?

Sheffield will be in tier 3 and we’ve no chance of getting any fans into the Lane as longs as the Pigs are doing everything they can so as not to have to go back and see that shower of shite.

Hallam only holds about 1,000 (at a push). At away games, it's a full stand of 4,000, within a full stadium.

You're comparing apples and pears by suggesting that 4k dotted around Bramall Lane (possibly with further restrictions like masks, no singing) is the same as either of these.

We struggle to get GCB going in Wembley due to how everyone is far more spread out. I can't wait to hear what the eventual tier 2 2k distanced version sounds like.

It's conceivable that Sheffield could be put in Tier 2 from next Thursday. Do you think United are making plans to let 2000 fans in for the Man U game?
