Major problems to solve and demons to exorcise.
F**k what has gone before. Owners/ board/ management, the lot of you just accept that this team, as things stand lack the necessary gonads to succeed.

I am bored, so bored to f**ing death of blaming people. McCabe, the Prince, managers-, players etc etc..just get it sorted, like so many other clubs seem to manage to do, season after season.
Please for God's sake, those currently in control of the club just get together, have a beer, have a punch up, have a hug, whatever you need to do just admit the blatantly f*****g obvious....we have no leaders in this team.
Two huge characters (minimum) are required and they will NOT come cheap. One CB and one CM who have been there and done it, won, lost and won again under the lights and in front of the big crowds. Players who can handle the pressure , handle the abuse and shrug it off. Without these, we will not go up, ever!

In terms of the current team, Wilder needs to sort out one immediate problem. We have two proven goalscorers in Sharp & Clarke but it is clear that something is going on with them. They may not like each other but by god they need to play together. In my dreams I play for United and if some guy I really couldn't stand was pulling on the Red & White alongside me I would still put an arm around him and crave for him to succeed. Send the f*****s on a trust building course or drop them both and sign another striker to partner McNulty. We cannot carry egos in our predicament.

Lastly, us... Saturday could be horrible, especially if none of the aforementioned characters have been signed (likely) and we don't start well. We all need to sing our hearts out and keep it zipped when players drop a clanger, hard to do yes, but not impossible.

I have had a few tonight so apologies for the ramble. UTB!

Great sentiments, great suggestion, but I have as well had a few...

We need to get back to our Seige mentality as a fan base, all we need is a glimmer of hope that we are coming out fighting... And want it...

I long for the good old days of us swaggering about, knowing we'd have a chance cause our players were unknown former failures moulded into a unit that would piss blood for each other..

Now, I think we have a few failed wannabes with the big I am syndrome, and they'll always be individuals..

Carry on regardless....

I also want a 'glimmer of hope' , 'we are coming out fighting' mate. Just don't think we have the characters. Like I said, same page...think we might be on it..

I wish all of that would be the case but it's not how it seems to work in this neck of the woods.

This fanbase is a double-edged sword. For every occasion we've sang loudly as one and willed the team to win on several memorable occasions, we've had bitter infighting in the stands and a strange tendancy to turn that negative energy inward during the bad times, and this is a very bad time.
A couple more bad results and I can see it escalating to pretty staggering proportions.

Yep, I agree mate and I might be being a tad naive. However what was once a huge strength is rapidly becoming a huge hindrance, and yes I do understand the implication of saying that our home support might be a hindrance :( but there is a debate to be had.

More importantly however is what those f*****s in the boardroom get up to

I just hope Wilder is the man to turn around the titanic. More pain to come Blades but let's hope we come out the other side!
