Not sure how they got us here, however by hook or by crook they did. I know it was frustrating waiting but I think this is a brilliant appointment.

I think the next best thing they could do now is allow anyone who hasn't renewed over the last 2 years to renew at the April discounted price.

Then we could be a fully forward thinking club!

The board got lucky after a number of managers turned us down, but that won't stop KM and board from twisting the truth.

Agree with OP on this.

While fans have been naturally frustrated, the fact we have bided our time with the right level of due diligence and a robust and lengthy selection process should be commended.

And it look like we are all mostly happy with the appointment as well as Weir is the right "type" of appointment. So alls well that ends well.

So yes, a degree of credit is most surely due.

All this talk about fans giving DW 110% backing is just rubbish as we all know KM and some of the older won't be giving 110% . How can you expect fans not to complain when you see KM selling players in Jan or the likes of Doyle collecting his wage packet every week after poor performances. We can hope they won't be we all now KM will sell in jan and not get anyone it. It's the Blades way.

P.s for the record, I think Weir is a great appointment
