Wouldnt be surprised if this raises its head again later today. The issue wasnt with Utd it was a between the lad and his agent, and the selling club. As has been mentioned, Wigan might want to get him off the books and might be prepared to do a deal with the player of they are all prepared to compromise. Wouldnt be beyond the realms of fantasy if things moved from their end this morning and Utd got a call to ask if they still want it to happen. Then again, Wigan might just think fuk him a d sit tight with an unhappy player taking a sizeable wage for sitting on his backside.
