I struggle to believe he is this bad.

I remember Brian Deane spoke highly of him during his time in Norway.

He made a decent start at Beerschot in their top flight season that finished ok.

He did pick up an injury so whether it’s that or a lack of confidence he seems to have regressed to the point his career could be under threat.

He was also stuck in Belgium alone with no family during covid which I also don’t believe helped him too much.

It feels like it has all got on top of the lad, recent years and he’s now a shadow of the player that must have shown some promise.

Watching last night and being objective, his positional sense is awful leaving gaping holes and space he should be either covering or getting in to receive the ball and play, when the first Subs where shown, i thought Wilder had seen enough and he would be taken off. Of course that was not the case!

every single, what should be a nice simple pass was him stretching to it and passing and half on slide tackle, good players show when they are surrounded or are being closed down find time and use composure, he looks like the kid at the pitz soccer that your mate said was good, but every time he gets it just wallops it in any direction and waits for others to tidy up his mess.

He has to be moved on, on loan, bought, or terminated by mutual consent, he is not a Championship Footballer, it might be the english leagues are not for him, as others have said in a few years he might not be playing at all, nothing i have seen from him would indicate there is a player in there just bursting to get out.

How did he stay on the pitch with all the other changes we made???
Post match wilder said all the subs were forced through fitness, so no subs left to swap anyone else out. Arguably shouldn't be starting 5 players who you know aren't physically capable of doing 90, leaves no room to make subs for if someone gets injured or if some are playing shit and you need to make a tactical change.

I'm surprised Brewster can't do 90 tbh, but yeah he did say that so maybe no option.

I’m no Coulibaly fan.

But we all must realise if Souza or Blaster get injured, got forbid both. He would be our starting choice centre midfielder. We have to keep him fit. Frustrating but until we sign another centre midfielder we have no choice.

If he plays a league game we have serious serious issues

He looked decent in his cameos when Hecky was in charge.

Every time he has been on the pitch this season, he has looked half pissed.

It might be due to lack of match sharpness, but he can barely control or pass a ball at the moment. If we can cash in we really should and strengthen CM with another player.
Seems to get everything wrong, makes poor decisions, turns into trouble rather than away, seems to try hard but with no end product. Although last night was down to Wilder, but don’t worry « he’s one of us «

Coulibaly joined Sarpsborg years after Deane was there, but Deano may still have watched him of course.

He did quite well first half. There were passages of play where you see he can be functional.

But he seems prone to lose concentration and then confidence. When that happens he lacks awareness, his touch is variable, leading to getting caught on the ball.

I think he needs a new start, somewhere he can settle down and play regularly.

Well Wilder keeps giving him a game so what does that say for his judgement?

Watching his first touch last night, if his injury had something to do with it, he must have had a broken leg replaced with a wooden one or summat 🤷‍♀️

Lee chapman was known as Douglas Bader as he was good in the air but crap on the floor

Is he still at the club? And if so is he injured? He doesn’t seem to get a game for the U23s it’s like he’s disappeared.

He isn't listed on the club's teams section either, for any of the squads. I know this isn't always accurate though
