Could Ole Gunnar sabotage our season?

Good article from the Guardian. Unlikely to happen but as we know anything can happen in football.

Not sure I agree. At best well written click bait which contains trending phrases in light of the Premier League restarting. Everything that he states has been written in every other paper from the Mail to the Mirror.

I will give some credit though as he does hint at the real story - money - but that won’t get as many clicks as a story which attacks Manchester United’s integrity. The truth is he’s a Manchester 🙂 player, and they’ll want to get the best deal for their business. We’d expect Wilder and Bettis to do the same.

The telling sentence is when he admits it may just be financial compensation that’s slowing the process down. That’s not a very exciting story, but Wilder has been hinting at that for a few weeks. Exactly the same situation happened in August when we all feared Henderson wouldn’t be signing. Well we would have been worrying if not for R.C@dette and his infrequent updates.

I thought we’d agreed to extend until the end of the season?

I've seen that today, articles on about Henderson getting a new Man U contract, casually mentioning that his loan has been extended.

I think if we beat Man U and are above them, they wont extend his loan. They will wait for our match im sure

Pretty sure the deadline to extend is June 23rd, the day before we play them

I'm sure Man Utd will allow him to stay. But even if he wasn't I'm pretty sure Wilder would just get on with it.

We didn't think it necessary to join those in their letter writing to get Man City banned from playing in Europe. Our attitude is we'll get there on our own merit.

This is one of the things that sets us apart.

He obviously won't play against Manchester anyway but CW has always been vocal on the excellent relationship the club's have and I would be surprised if that respect was not upheld......besides, I have a feeling that very few inside Old Trafford will see us as a threat anyway, despite everything...!

It would be petty of them to not let him stay until the season is complete. That said, if we were in their position and had the chance to do serious damage to a rival team in the race for Europe without kicking a ball, a small part of me would want us to do it, however "immoral" it may seem. All's fair in love and war (and football)!

Thanks mate didnt know that. Maybe they are waiting for the villa and newcastle results then before they allow him. It wouldnt surprise me
