I was just thinking that today is the ideal time to get someone signed.

I don't think Warnock will want the scramble of the last few days of the transfer window and getting someone in now will give the club a boost.

The only problem is everyone is cagy. I think they are all hoping Norwich sell Ashton for £7/8m and they go barmy buying everyone.

It will deflate the fans a little if we don't sign anyone in the window.
