There are a couple of threads re how tired the squad is looking so I won't go over the demanding backlog of league and cup games.
But it was noticeable that the club took time to acknowledge that the program and our successes are having on fans pockets in austere times. The past and next few matches are taking a toll on the pockets of the average fan who will go to home games and at least one trip to Wembley but have to pay extra for the cup success.
Fulham home game £10
Forest home game £10
Charlton home game £15
Wembley ticket £40?
Wembley travel £30
Wembley subsistence £25
That's £130 in extra games and we can expect £450ish anytime now for a season ticket that's £480 per adult meaning approx £2,000 for a nuclear average family of 4 all in a few weeks. Dig deep lads we might win and have to do it all again.

But it's worth every penny :D

This is what credit cards are for!

I'm £150 down on Wembley before tickets or subsistence (enough booze to kill an elephant & enough scran to soak it up with).

Figures, I had you down as a kopite ;)
Kopite through the 60's,70's and 80's as a lad but family and age now dictate more subtle surrounding are required.

PS I was assuming that many were going on a very tight budget. Obviously there are some rich buggers on here as well as me

You're going to sit in the Car Park then B56?

Or so high up you'll need a further £100 for the oxygen tent.

Last time I went I said it would be much better to just go down soak up the prematch atmosphere, get wankerd then either watch the game in a boozer or listen to it in the car, the actual match has been that shite everytime.
