sorry for going sort of topic as this is about sport as a whole not just football. but it something i like peoples opinions on. in that considering all sport has & is being cancelled, newspapers have nothing to put in sport section & sky sports news, talksport or 5 live sport no sport to discuss

could we see a thing happening where a sport that is broadcasted on terrestrial tv. like world snooker championship for example say right we are going ahead at all costs even if its means behind closed doors. as someone like barry hearn thought, imagine the ratings & exposure for the sport if we are the only competive action happening. cant leave the house already discussed that TV at weekends without sport is dreadful. the newspapers have 20 pages to fill with no other sport could have huge chunks devoted to it & betting companies might finally get back to being in business

Out of interest what qualifies you to make such predictions?

I don’t have the experience or knowledge of virus pandemics to predict what will happen over the next week, month or year. Last week things advanced very quickly, for all I know in a couple of weeks things could’ve improved.

I’m slightly dreading what news might come out from us – while I would hope we’re in a better situation than a few others before this all hit, mainly because our wage bill will be less, I’m sure the impacts are a lot deeper than most of us think, and for all club staff.

A table shows how teams have performed so far in the season. If you use how teams have played so far in the season as a basis of how they will continue to play, you're obviously going to get little change to the table. Not that "amazing".
