Our teenaged daughter is in France on a school trip so Mrs Jansky & I took advantage of this to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary with a night in the Copthorne last night. There were quite a few players also staying, and I changed my mind about Madine, who I didn’t want us to sign but was a nice guy to chat to.

“The suspension is killing me man. OK, it was a forward’s tackle but I didn’t go in to hurt the lad, It was clumsy and I couldn’t believe it when it was a red. Right now I’m nervous about tomorrow, I hate watching games, its horrible, I want to be playing and doing my bit but I’ll be in the dressing room supporting the lads. I’m loving being a Blade, the feeling around the club is great.”

This morning at breakfast Ollie Norwood sat there chugging through loads of toast. After this morning’s performance I’m guessing at a wheat intolerance.

It was a really nice experience for £56, I’d wholeheartedly recommend it.

Heard similar things about Madine. Reckon he was trying to hard with that tackle and if it hadn't been in front of our dug out he wouldn't have made it. Reckless rather than malicious but that doesn't suit some agendas. Happy anniversary btw ,my 25th next year.

He is a unit, as is Stearman. They look ridiculously strong & healthy. Didn’t like the glint in Mrs Jansky’s eye....,,,,

The reaction of the player dictates the card nowadays. Casey Palmer should’ve had 2 yellows yesterday, but on the 2nd the United player just bounced up and tried to take a quick free kick.
