Coordination of Greasy Chip Butty

This got me thinking. We've got the delayed kick off and minutes silence. I'm sure there's plenty of Blades personally effected by the Hillsborough disaster. Seeing as Our Nige played in that game too, How much respect would we get for a rendition of you'll never walk alone after the minutes silence? Followed by an even louder rendition of the greasy chip butty of course.

You know what, I like that. A lot.

I absolutely agree with the sentiment but it's a song so closely linked to Liverpool.not sure I would be comfortable singing it

Yeh you're right there. It just wouldn't catch on at all. Not only that, we can't even co-ordinate GCB without the music so there's absolutely no chance with YNWA.

I agree with the sentiment and might stop the GCB being started too soon cus once it's got going there will be no hitting the refs whistle, it will have taken over and lost the chance for 33000 to be as one?

There's absolutely no chance of us getting GCB going, in unison, without the music.

I agree let the atmosphere create itself naturally
I wouldnt feel comfortable with singing YNWA its a Liverpool song we dont need to sing that to gain respect we do that by observing the one mins silence. Lets stick to Blades songs

I think most Blades would be the same but personally I think it would be amazing if we all sang YNWA.

Fair points about ynwa. I was just thinking out loud. Hope the atmosphere doesn't get to our lads

In that case we could get an internet radio station to play Annie's Song at 16.10 and 17.10 that we could listen to on our phones. How stunning would that be having 33k Blades all start up in unison, seemingly unprompted.

Whilst it's a admirable sentiment to sing YNWA at what point do we stop remembering those tragic events and start enjoying our moment in the limelight?

You'll Never Walk Alone was sang at the 5-2 win at Leicester.

Just in case I've not mentioned it :)

Have a great day Blades

I think this should be done!

Reckon if someone has the balls to start it, others will follow, from both ends. I probably haven't ;-)
Just look at the minutes silence today - lasted about 10 seconds before everyone got bored and it became a minutes applause.

Think your right it'd be hard as one voice to start but if a few did then?!
