I’ll defened wes, some of his shot stopping was very good. He pulled off some unbelievable saves at times. He had a mistake in him but we’ve seen that with cooper as well. He faced considerably more shots at goal from threatening situations than other GKs in the prem. He did well considering the volume and much higher quality. he wasn’t a bad keeper at all we just had an awful defence and crap negative system.Cooper is comfortably better than Wes.
Bear in mind also that we didn’t have any of the three you’ve mentioned when we actually signed Cooper and it becomes much more than just a ‘decent signing’ - it was an essential signing that massively improved our defence and in my opinion is the reason we are (just about) in the automatic promotion race at all.

Leeds might be a destination for him, but he's young enough that I think someone bigger will take a punt.Exactly this, until Cooper improves his footwork I can't see a move to a prem side.
