we also hammered you football wise at bramall lane so by your recning we deserved the win as did burnley. also acording to most reports we were the beter team in the 1st game of season
Is football about who plays prettier and entertaining - if so we deserve to go up and not you?
you cannot have it both ways. it is how it is. you can have that pen chalked off at our place providing we can have the two given at Wembley.

I never said that u wasn't better than us in the second game  All i said was that u got a lucky penalty. You deserved to win that game because we were poor and u played better but u didnt deserve the penalty. The fact is that u didnt deserve a penalty in the play-off final when Howard was apparently fouled in the box, thats the only penalty i referred to in a previous post, i never mentioned anything about any of the other penalties.

i have a sheffield street guide if you want one, still if you witnessed the lucky penalty at bramall lane, you would have seen enough street signs, any way that reminds me of your quedrue behaving like a wrestler throwing opponents about,a definate red card, thats what i mean about lucky

You mean queudrue. Also i don't seem to remember him acting like a wrestler. Did he do it against you or was it in another game where u watched us on tele or something?

Where is this place you speak of? :D

lol sorry i wasnt sure if it was 2 m's or 2 l's so i thought stuff it i'll put 2 of both!

3. We sued Wet Spam, which is a breach of Premier League rules, especially after we signed an affi-davit stating that we were satisfied with Wet Spam's punishment regarding the Tevez affair (until we threw away a 10 point lead that is!!).

Ah... but we weren't in the Premier League when we sued, so were not bound by it's somewhat murky rules.

5. With regards to 'Tevezgate', it appears the waters have become so muddied, we no longer actually understand the issue. Tevez was NEVER ineligable to play for Wet Spam. The issue regarded the fact that Wet Spam did not own the rights to the player - a third party did and the spammers were punished for this - and rightly so!! There was never any question surrounding the player's registration!

The fact that you cannot sign a player who has third party interest does kind of make the very fact of his registration questionable.

...make ourselves a laughing stock that is despised by most of the football league for being 'bad losers' - remember the Arsenal / FA Cup fiasco?

I think you've been in Wales too long. I don't seem to recall anyone questioning that decision at the time.

but I really believe that the only eway to redeem ourselves is to stop whining and bleating on about non-existant conspiracy theories,

We'll just shut the forum down now then shall we? Seeing as the boss has spoken ;)

Like I said, I think we get our fair share of bad luck. But we also need to make our own luck at times and we often fail to.

You have to be the most pro-West Ham Blade who has ever joined though... funny that, after this thread was linked to on a certain site last night...

I cannot be bothered to drag up the Tevez issue again but i have never heard a Sheffield United fan with such an obviously pro-West Ham point of view on this subject.

I disagree with almost every word which you have written but as i suspect you are a West Ham fan posting in the guise of an exiled blade i dare say any attempt to have a rational debate would prove to be folly.

I cannot agree Jodman, every time someone mention this subject which is very unclear to most of us and they say the reason Sheffield Utd went down was under their own steam, i.e. throwing away a 10 point lead, others accused them of being West Ham fans. I’m one of those fans who cannot see how Tevez could be solely responsible for the club going down. In fact I cannot see how he can even be near a major contributor in Sheffield Utd going down.
Don’t mean to open old wounds again chaps.

OK, my last words on this matter ...... the reason for suing in the end was due to the fact that Tevez was still incorrectly registered despite West Ham's declaration to the otherwise.

He was deemed as instrumental in the matches when still registered in contravention of PL rules after the original decision, in keeping West Ham up.

That was why there was a law suit, and West Ham settled out of court (as they were as guilty as sin). Had the registration been correct as West Ham had stated, there wouldn't have been the further action. The first action concerned the craven decision of the PL not to dock points; the second was a company v company action. While related, the two weren't the same.

As for the 10 point lead, please take a look at the fixtures immediately after that, and then tell me that a club with the resources and playing staff of Sheffield United would reasonably be expected to maintain that sort of gap.

We should all let cheats, rule breakers and liars prosper!

What a wonderful world we'll have!

:D:D:D

I think it was Jamie Ward, he grabed his colar and threw him to one side

so i was,nt the only one who saw it,cheers mate, i think i am a bit of an anorak really, as i always stay till the bitter end even if we are getting hammered, once in me seat i dont like missing anything, personally i think there ought to be a section of the ground for me and the like, once in yer seat yer dont move, anyone wanting a burger,go to mcdonalds. ah bliss i,ll stop now as i feel a rant coming on

Yes Queudrue on Ward.... Ward had had his pants down and Queudrue decided the best way to stop this attack would be to wrestle him to the ground for some kisses.

Amazingly no free kick or red card given.

As for the penalty, I have heard people call it a soft penalty - however if that incident were to happen outside the box, it would be a foul.
There was a clear push in the back on Henderson.

Went to get a veggie burger at whichever God(TM)forsaken service station we eventually reached on the way back, and it was a sodding Wimpy, and not a Burger King.

I hate the places, but at least the Burger King things are sanctioned by the Veggie society. There was also no sodding beer available, so I ended up talking incessantly to keep myself awake (along with the dregs of a litre of vodka). This meant that the rest of the coach didn't have to hear me (allegedly) snore, but those near me couldn't get golden slumbers.

I've never heard my snoring yet.
