The grunters at work were on fire with this news. Funny how it's always the ones that don't go that make the most noise. One of them even went as far as considering going tomorrow as 'it was going to be a bumper crowd'.

From what I heard of the first 10 minutes of Football Heathen, Pig Staton was trying to whip up a Connor Wickham wankfest and he sounded most perturbed when the first caller was a Rotherham fan.

I was just seeing the reaction from some posters on here who hammer every signing , loan signing ,potential signing we are every involved in to a striker who has scored 2 in his last 28 games.

In the Premier League, with most of his performances as sub. A bit different to comparing them to how they'd do in the Championship or League 1. The season before we signed Beattie the first time for example, in which he was excellent, he scored 2 in 35 for Everton. Both of which were penalties. Had we signed Wickham on loan I'd have been fairly pleased. Though we obviously need more in midfield...

This really pisses me off with the current management , if the supporters can see it why the feck cant Wilson see it. Doyle and more recently Mc D have been annonymous against Hartlepool Yeovil and to some extent Coventry. The midfielis a problem and its a BIG problem that needs addressing.
Our loan signings that we have made have been total pants . Pigs last season had Marshall and Antonio that had a positive effect on their season and we get Cofie that just about says it all

Whickham was lauded as the english Messi when Ipswich were offloading him,after hed had a great season but like many a player its consistency that lets them down , the failure to maintain heights achieved in a settled team, hes become another Marcus Bent, shuffling between clubs awaiting for his potential to come to the fore

Check out Watford ...... last night I think there was nine loan players in the side ................it helps that the owner is also the owner of Udinese and the manager of Watford is Zola .......but that is another story...

Im not jealous of pig signings, I was pointing out that

(a) we need at least one CM player and Wilson seems oblivious to the fact that Doyle needs replacing and fast and KMac needs a kick up the arse
(b) there are good loan signings out there but we dont pick up the right players. Phillips and Clarke had a very short term effect on our season
