Not seen this lad mentioned already. Looked good on loan at Chartlon earlier in the season. Loan got upgraded to Swansea in January. Looks like a midfielder that can do everything. My eyes tell me he'd fit brilliantly into our midfield. Can't see him getting game time in Chelsea's midfield anytime soon though... Loan or maybe even a sizeable purchase, would excite me.

Looks a real good 'un. Like you say, a bit of everything, good athlete and good footballer. Would be very happy if he was on our radar.

Cant see him getting into Chelseas overloaded midfield would be worth a punt especially with the 5 subs rule next season.

First I've seen or heard of him, but he looks the part based on tonight. Could well be worth a look.

Looks as though he'll be a proper player.

Glad he was able to overcome the problems with his dodgy ticker

Feel like Lampard hates Wilder (because Lampard seems like a petulant kid) so we might not be on his loan list. That's just a hunch!

The more I think about it the more I want this to happen. Would be a great addition!
Surely not out of the realms of possibility either. It’s a step up for the lad and Chelsea benefit as it develops their player.

I was a Lampard slasher last season splashing the cash at Derby knowing he was feckin off at the end of the season.
This season I’ve got a lot of time for him, young English manager, humble in defeat, demands a lot of his players, handled the embargo through previous mis management, pulled a lot of his young loaners back, gave them a chance and has done brilliantly in his 1st PL manager season

He seems to have done really well this season and could be a sensible purchase!

surely some of their other midfielders / attackers may also become surplus with the amount of attacking talent they seem intent on purchasing.

surely not all of the below are going to be happy with the amount of game time :

Werner
Pulisic
Ziyech
Hudson-Odoi
Loftus-cheek
Barkley
Willian
Mount
Pedro
abraham
Giroud
Gillmour

And if they sign havertz also.

might mean a higher profile player becomes available on loan....?

And if we can buy him a pair of boots with studs in he might be able to stay on his feet instead of his arse most of the time. Touch like a baby elephant.

Hudson Odoi would be an excellent signing on loan he has not had much game time at all recently and seems to be out of favour.

Really strong on the ball and great control and composure in some tight spaces last night vs a quality Brentford side. Highly thought of at each of the clubs he's been at. Looks a good prospect but can't see Chelsea letting him go on the cheap given his potential.

Your suggestions seem to go from the sublime to the ridiculous. Have you watched us play this season or even in the past 3 seasons?
Where are you thinking of playing this exciting but wildly inconsistent wiseman?

Touch like a baby elephant? You must be thinking of the wrong Gallagher bud. Exactly what we need. Pace, energy, lovely touch and knows where the back of the net is.

There are around 110,000 reasons per week why that won't happen.

Yeah heard it all before with us signing Berge people were saying there is no way we would pay 20+m for a young midfielder and look what happened.

Whilst it is unlikely never say never.

Hudson Odoi will be a world beater if he applies himself and learns the game. But we don't play wingers, so seems very unlikely he'd come to us. Maybe they'd send him to Germany if they did loan him out. Gallagher a perfect fit though, and a lower profile player...

Hudson Odoi is an out & out winger - this is one of a couple of reasons why we wouldn’t even consider him.

Gallagher could be a useful player for us. Like his energy & ability to run with the ball. Was played as a box to box midfielder at Charlton and was (rightly) getting many plaudits for his performances.

Theres more chance of Ghislane Maxwell making it out of prison alive than Gallagher getting into that Chelsea side anytime soon. Good chance we could bag him!

Face like a slapped arse when things don’t go well, though ...
