Out of interest, anyone know his overall record at the club in terms of league wins, draws and losses?

I can't believe I ever doubted him!? Micalijo, Fiery, BB, Revolution, Torrix and all the other knockers shame on you. All hail the King. A thousand years to Kevin Blackwell! Long live the King. Long may he serve our football club.

He's not cheap .... he's economical! He's not fat .... he's big boned! he's not a clown .... he's just a joker! He's not arrogant ..... he's just confident! He's not out of his depth, poor at man management, rubbish at tactics and substitutions and generally lost when playing big teams or big games ..... he's just lulling all the other managers into a false sense of security.

Blackie's 45% win ratio also just beats Warnock's 43%. Although Neil had a season in the Prem to contend with of course.

I'm just going to let the season roll now and see what happens. Nothing more we can do. Lets just hope he proves his critics wrong ;)

If KB's plays 4-4-2 with 3 out of the following 4 (Camara, Williamson, Ward and Yeates) in the team and really attacks Forrest tonight then I might even warm to the old dog a little more!? :confused:

The reason I asked for the stats was a simple one. People on here say he is a bad thing but he gets results!? Im not saying the footy aint dire or that we've flogged the family silver but it could be a hell of a lot worse.

Some people think the results he gets aren't good enough, given the resources he's had at his disposal.

That he's held us back.

And that he's been pretty lucky.

Some also worry that if he was lucky enough to get us promoted through the lottery of the play-offs, that we'd be completely embarrassed in the Premiership due to his complete ineptitude.
 
Interestingly, 64 teams have changed manager while we've had Blackwell in charge.

Okay, fair enough. Of course I am concerned if we get promoted! I was concerned under warnock despite having a better side.

What examples can you say of him being lucky? Maybe I am looking a bad things but I can only think of things that have gone against us.

Yes, I agree he has had plenty of money
