In this country education is compulsory, not sure what you mean a ‘proper’ education is this specific to Coventry?

I'm pretty sure "Not the sharpest blade are you." is a question not a statement, unless you're using some form of poetic licence, as in "woe is me". You were using and intending it as a statement, but I'm pretty sure it is actually a question.

Excellent. Many thanks for those.

I remember Reg Matthewson coming on as substitute. And that so many shots seemed to be flying in towards the City goal that 2-0 to us didn't reflect our dominance that day.

I also recall someone stood close at hand to us on the John Street Terrace saying that Coventry were the worst First (ie top) Division team he'd seen.

On that day maybe.

Unfortunately, at the end of the season our home form collapsed and we were relegated by a whisker.

Just below Coventry Who commenced a 34 year stay in the top flight.
