Confused Coventry

This is our forum to bitch, moan and debate. I hate it when some irrelevant wankers get under the rabbit fence and start chirping up. Like an outsider at a family dinner.

Fuck off.

Personally Coventry City moved up my clubs I hate list when the tossers tried to derail our promotion bid by lobbing tennis balls, and running on the pitch with impunity. I'll never forgive them for that.

I was at that game and was furious, as they did their level best to get the game abandoned.

And for that, they will always be wankers.

Some things are just too reprehensible fo contemplate
Likely the bastard took the last of the gravy n’all ?

There was only one side that got 'ripped apart' today from the whistle and it wasn't us.

Fleck was a loss. Hamer was a massive loss. But O'Hare? I said when you signed him he isn't as good as you thought. Rudoni as I also said is a more than adequate replacement. He doesn't fall over each time there's a gust of wind.

At least we can see who are the honest posters on here.
Fuck me mate get a reality check .. you’ve took a point against a side playing with 10 men for half a game . The league table tells the truth about where you are at present , or have you been ‘unlucky’ in all the first third of the season . I know it must wrankle hard about being our feeder club but get a grip or just fuck off back to chat with our own fan site & their deluded brethren 👍

Neither team got ripped apart, it finished a draw for fucksake.

Oxford got ripped apart.

It started off as an entertaining, competitive game of football but the red card ruined it as a contest.

What we do know for certain is that when it was 11 v 11 we took the lead twice.

Weren’t we both with Sander?
Sander was one person who always divided opinion amongst Blades, his departure just emboldened his critics. Whereas Cov seem pretty clear who their villain is.

Both teams looked ordinary, but with 11 men we have another gear - hence being top of the league.

Getting Barnsley, Hull, vibes. Confected rivalries with clubs who couldn’t care less.

Hamer played 2 balls that ripped apart your defence and led to 2 goals....or did u miss that?

You had a load of possession but even playing against 10 men for over 50 mins you didn't rip us apart and needed a corner that never was to get a point.

Probably confusing to others but it was good to see.

Robins is the best manager the club has had. He almost single handedly saved us from oblivion. He was abandoned by the owners and left to play at multiple grounds throughout the midlands. Took us to Wembley pretty much every season, two promotions including one at St Andrews.

This year he's been poor, his two main coaches left and he's been tactically isolated despite a strong squad. It was time to move on.

O'Hare booed for obvious reasons.

Hamer still loved here and he clearly loves us considering he's always at our home matches.
Sometimes it’s about the power behind the throne.

There’s a school of thought that Wilder is the motivator and that it’s actually Knill that does all the tactical work.

Perhaps a similar deal with Robins 🤷

Yep, absolutely.

Robins is like Southgate for England. Wonderful man manager. Creates harmony. Deals with the challenges off the pitch well.

However, in the 90 minutes he lacks the tactical knowledge and his subs were always poor.

Robins won't get a top job and will never manager in the PL despite doing one of the greatest jobs in English football.

Sorry, I meant major trophy.
Moving the goalposts...lol

I know what you mean but all I care about the game yesterday was a point we won..

Given the circumstances its a great point, that striker though he's a bit of a child isn't he, hope he can take the attention he's gonna get from now on..

I don’t think wilder would either to be fair. Alignment of the stars, unique circumstances, call it what you will, but broadly speaking it’s has just clicked with us.

I’d say that’s the case with Robins too, him and Wilder have had fairly middling careers otherwise

Kept making out he was staying but then took the money not leaving us much time to replace him.
O’Hare was out of contract at the end of June. He signed for us 15 days later. The transfer window was open for another 45 days.

He is but we love it. We've not had a player like that in a generation. We've been a soft side under Robins and I'm glad we've got someone who's willing to play the game.

Unfortunately you weren't specific, and my reply was indeed factual, and we have won a trophy.
I don't know why we got a trophy for winning the league, but we did.

Got to agree with you we were shite but produced 2 excellent phases of play otherwise you totally had us for the 90 but to our credit we hung in - I’d say other than Leeds best team we’ve played
Oh and I’m still confused about ohare most of the time he’s a Ben Osborne but with a hair band, but now and again a highly exceptional bit of technique and quality
Of which we largely played with 10 men.

Well if you're counting that, I'll start celebrating our Checkatrade trophy 😎

Yes you’ve mentioned this already. Be a good lad and fuck off now eh?
He came on pre-season saying how great they are or will be with their new signings and then fucked off and then returns when they get a draw at home from a football team short of 1 player for the majority of the game. Too right, fuck off.

He was offered a contract in December. Had he signed it, he could have made us at least £5m.
#Had Maradona signed for us.........

Your original argument was that you were left with hardly any time to replace him.

This is modern football though. A player has every right not to renew a contract, just as the club have every right not to renew one. I accept it's disappointing when certain players leave but I suspect most players lose any loyalty to a club after a season or two (especially when it's not a club they developed in), and look to further their chances of honours or increased income if the opportunity arises.

I remember talking to a player pre the Bosman ruling and he told me when it came to transfers, the deal was often done before the player knew anything about it and consequently had little say in the matter.

Why are there so many Coventry on our forum? I don’t think any other club is as obsessed with us.
Because they are fed up of being outclassed by their real rivals Leicester City

Did you take English at school? Maybe you're still at school.

You are is shortened to you're. Otherwise it is your. What you have said is 'go back to you are shit club', 'you are shit city' and 'you are shit forum'. Not the sharpest blade are you.
Not the sharpest Coventry fan either. You should have finished with a question mark. Tut tut.
