Crikey that was quick Houso, I was just coming on here to start the same thread!

Cant complain at the players although im F'd off that theyre both loans again. We're made up of other club's players. Beefy back four though;

Walker Morgan Nosworthy Kallio

'Illegible', 'paper work not completed', you couldn't make it up !!

Dodgy reporting aside, why wouldn't paper work be completed in time ?

Good signing btw :-)

I imagine they were waiting to confirm Shorey before we could secure him.

Which fits in nicely with what that liar Blackwell said about a Prem club waiting on bringing someone in. How dare he tell the truth

Shorey is confirmed on loan to Fulham, but only an hour ago.

Perhaps Paperwork has to be in by lunchtime today so that he can play tommorow and we probably get Kalio until Shorey was confirmed whereas the paperwork for the deadline is to be at the FA by 5pm doesn't it?

They've always said on Sky that faxes etc have to hit the machines at the FA by the deadline or at least prove that they were sent before the deadline so I can't see how paper work can have failed already.

Reading the stars stroy, the deal hasn't failed. But I think the deadline for playing tomorrow is 12pm the day before. Hence if it went through after 12pm today then he won't be able to play tomorrow.

I think anyway

When Seip is fit and Morgan gets suspended, we will be able to field an entire back 4 of onloan players" - surely unique?

We are, but no more.

And don't forget Bunny behind them

Given a couple of injuries, it's also quite possible that we could field a completely different team to that which got us to the play-offs and Wembley at some point;

Bunn
Geary, Nyron, Siep, Kallio
Yeates, Williamson, Harper, Cresswell
Evans, Camara

Not a bad team actually ;)

Kallio coming back?

Apologies if mentioned elsewhere.
It's on the beeb transfer deadline page that we might be re-signing Kallio from Fulham. Would make sense seen as they've just got Shorey on loan and they only recalled him due to injuries.

*Oops sorry I didn't think to look in general blades chat as I thought it was still a rumour*

"Fulham's Kalio, predominantly a left back, is illegible as his paper work was not compelted in time."

Illegible paperwork, eh? Well, at least Nosworthy's compelted.

Nice to see the Star's maintaining standards.

Keep up Houso, why can't you be as ITK as this wag on the Guardian running round-up?

name with a fancy, Euro-style C instead of a K?"

3.50pm: "Re: toff footballers," writes Chris Paston, who's only one barrel worth of surname and some physical co-ordination away from being one himself. "What about Sheffield United youngster Troy Pennycooke-Morgan?" In a far less interesting revelation, Chris goes on to add that Nyron Nosworthy and Toni Kallio are signing for the Blades on loan this afternoon.

Credit where it is due. I take my hat off to Blackwell for making 2 decent signings. Well done Kevin!

I honestly think that these 2 will make the difference. With a backline of Walker, Morgs, Nosworthy and Kalio with replacements/competition for places Seip and Naysmith 9when they get fit) then I think we'll stand a very good chance of making the play offs.

I pleaded with KB to bring in a good centre back and hopefully a good left back. He's done that so I can't complain.

UTB.

Lets just hope we don't have to play on a Friday ;)

Is it not better late than never Lenners?

It's better to have a proper centre half lined up to sign before you play your next game.
At the very least one of them should have been in the team for West Brom - one of the teams we were allegedly trying to catch for second place.

Oh well, it's gone. Live for the moment :)

Indeed, promotion has gone.
I reckon Nyron's got comedy value though and that's something we've missed.

Lens talking...

Whilst I agree with you Lenners, it has gone now, its fair to say that we were highly exposed on Saturday, they could have had a hatful.

If we hadn't got anyone in today I'd have been very peed off and downbeat. If we'd have got one of the two in I'd have thought we could have done more. But as it is I think he's more than plugged the gaps

Yes it was late, but we got there in the end... lets kick on tomorrow night
