I'm astonished - and confused.

Several 'in the know' Blades posted on here in the last week or two saying that Morgan and Monty were off to Leeds.
It was a "done deal" they said.
Players deserting the sinking ship, they said.
Even the two Kyles were going to join them.
It was proof that Blackwell is useless and McCabe was just concerned about selling his prize assets and recouping his money.
I was all ready to go to the car park and remove my shoes.

Now I don't know who to believe any more....

So you're after a skillful ball player that doesn't give 110%? Cos I think we had Howard and Hendrie who fitted that role and I'd take Monty over a team full of those useless wasters. Yes he has his faults (and some focus on them alot more than they look at the aspects of his game that benefit the team) but personally I think he's developed into a more rounded player than people give him credit for.

It seems like the club can't win at the moment. If we sign him up we're apparently committed to an ugly, hoofball way of football and if they let him go the club is losing it's soul and shows a lack of ambition.

Not really, I'm just fucking bored of people with blinkers (pro and con) who sit there high and proud in their belief that they are right and everyone else is wrong and make unfounded assumptions about other people.
