The way I saw it was that he was the player on the pitch that tried the most to beat men!

Suppose it really does depend on your definition really.

A winger in my opinion should be trying to beat a man down on the channels, rather than trying to bring it inside/going down at the slightest of touches.

He lost the ball far too much, with primarily sloppy passing, when a run at the defenders would have worked better.

But to be fair, he was no worse than the majority of the polayers.

For me, he did ok considering the situation he's joining us in. He's in a sinking ship, he'd need to be a miracle worker to look good in our team at the moment.

I thought he was good in the first half but faded in the second, why not give him a few games before you write him off completely; i know things are tough right now but give the kid a chance.

I don't think anyone is writing him off. I just thought he showed nothing that we don't already have, barring pace.
