I didn't solely blame Don Givens for our relegation to the fourth division, but as he was part of the squad that didn't accumulate enough points in the previous 45 game he can share it.

He also stepped forward to take the penalty when the man whose responsibility it was bottled it.

and it was probably a better penalty than it looked (but it did look terrible).

My hands down worst moment ever at BDTBL, I still shudder when I think of it. I know Matthews "did a Rhodes" & bottled it, something i don't actually understand, I took penalties for my teams & never thought of it as pressure, more a test you had to pass, but Givens' effort was struck so poorly it is a wonder it reached the goal at all. Urgh, dirty now, off for a shower!

Nigel Spackman really wasn't a very good manager.

In terms of having an opinion not shared by many others this has to be up there. Although you haven't specified whether or not that was as a manager just for us or as a manager full stop... cos yeah elsewhere he didn't pull up any trees.

We are terrible at making up songs for individual players

I hate the Coutts song. Part of me is glad Brooks has gone because I double hate 'Brooks will tear you apart'. 'Super Ched'???
What about “Bookes....Brookes will look like he’s lost the ball but then he’ll somehow manage to keep hold of lt....again”.

I haven’t read every page but here goes :

Gary Speed was not a good manager for us.

I quite liked david Carney. I thought he was good winger. Had good delivery & was left footed

I still don't think dean Hammond was nearly as bad as many people make out. Just very disappointing compared to the cost/expectation he came with.

Our best player tonight, and with the exception of McGoldrick, no-one ran him close.
Not even close. Decent performance and perhaps his best of the season. But 5 players in front for MOM.

Glad he’s off the mark, but another 3 yard sitter to add to an ever expanding back catalogue does little to deflect the shockingly poor return from him this season. We need better.

Much better.

He ran his bollocks off, turned their defence countless times and had to make all his own chances because the service those two got was atrocious. He had Williams beat all ends up.

My unpopular opinion for the day - After a purple patch when he joined, Norwood is simply OK.

Sometimes we’re painfully slow at attacking...and Duffy is the worst culprit for it, always seems to want to beat his man more than once.
