Bury (twice), Colchester, Port Vale, Crewe, Shrewsbury, Peterborough and now Rochdale. Welcome to the Third Division where the 'Game of the Day' is Burton v Walsall and embarassing humiliations for Adkins' Blades are the norm.

Game 20 is the only game under the current season's trend line - which was the home defeat to Shrewsbury, how fitting.

So we've pretty much sunk to that level again. What a fucking shambles this club is.

With only being on track to be three points worse off than last season at least it will be 11/12 years before we are relegated.

Utterly disgraceful. A few points less and we'd be in a relegation fight. It's hard to see where the next shot, let alone goal or win is coming from.

We only need 9 wins from 12 now, 8 wins if others collapse.

What, to avoid relegation? Seriously, the graphs are meant to show 'progress' over the season and a direct comparison between Adkins and Clough. Maybe this illustrates it better? After the first day of the season - a 4-0 thumping at Gillingham - and when league tables are pretty meaningless, we beat Chesterfield in the next game and were 12th. After that, we showed absolutely no consistency and clinged on to the (lower) play-off places. After that, we cemented our rightful place - mid-table. Owing entirely to the other teams' inconsistencies, we performed a dead cat bounce, flirted just outside the play-off positions and some delusionals actually thought we could get into the PO's.

Since then, Adkins has proved his consistency and returned us to 12th place - a position that's certain to worsen as the team has all but given up. Progress?

Agreed, that graph shows our season.

After the despair of 15 points from 15 games culminating with the disasterous home defeat to Shrewsbury, my optimism was raised with 4 wins in quick succession. But as you say, we've been delivered back to mid table.

I still have to laugh at the ultra delusionals who thought we could still get automatic promotion.

That picture does not lie.

Surely time is up for the Steve McClaren of the Third Division. 'Give him another year'? 'Let him bring his own players in?' At this rate Clown Adkins will have us in the Vanarama. Sack him now. A lucky injury-time penalty does not disguise anything.

Wigan & Burton drawn. Coventry & Southend lost. We should have pissed this division.

Thought we got a point today?

Looks like that last 10 years average for the playoffs at 74 points will be pretty much bang on this year. 2.2 ppg for us over the next 10 games looks pretty tough - win 6 draw 4....

Bradford at Wigan next week - a win at Millwall and we'll be right back in there with a shout.

Can we forget the ludicrous idea of play-offs now? A few points less and we'd be in a relegation scrap which, given the total lack of balls in this team, we'd lose. I just want this God-awful season to end. 22 points behind Burton. 16 points behind Walsall FFS. Reasons for optimism? None whatsoever.

We won at Peterborough on Aug 18 and that set us up for a 10th position finish, why are we surprised we are where we are?

The highest we've been projected above 10th was four places after the win at Fleetwood Oct 20th and Doncaster Feb 13th.
That's as good as this season has been for all those who think we can still make it. Only after two games have we been on track for a 6th finish.

Give it 10/12 games some said, the writing was on the wall very early.

This graph is great work #grafikhaus keep it up.

I want to keep adkins as I genuinely believe that we can feel the benefit of this extructing pain next season but he will be under tremendous pressure next season because 13th is absolutely unacceptable even more considering clough went after a 7th & 5th + 2 semi finals
