So updated. We're doomed I tell ya. OK maybe not.

High: 17 (Bristol City 2015, Charlton 2012)
Low: 6 (Scunthorpe 2007)

Well that cheered me up a bit.

Time get back on track. Will be interesting to see how we get on at the weekend. Plenty of goals in that game!

Mid September and we're about where I thought we'd be, but not in the manner that I imagined. I can't understand the contrast between the solid performance at Swindon and Peterboring and the dribble we've been offered at the Lane over the last 4 days. Maybe teams have worked us out at home and like another posted mentioned, we played well against teams that like to look pretty (Swindon and Posh) but teams that actually come with a game plan to not only frustrate (Bury, Blackpool) and be PHYSICAL, aggressive and work harder for possession than our midfield did last night.

In relation to other seasons, where were we?
2011-2012: Wilson was actually doing well, if I remember rightly we were on a good run and in and around the top 2.
2012-2013: As above, it just went wrong.
2013-2014: Less said about Weir the better..
2014-2015: Negative Nige never made it that exciting (bar the playoffs last year) but we were solid enough IMO. Home form was, being kind, patchy.

I'm just trying to tie up this post, but my view is that this squad is not good enough to win promotion. Like has been said by others, Positive Nige must have seen enough at Gillingham and even in that win over Chesterfield to see our squad is neither strong enough nor deep enough to challenge for the top 2. Very happy to give NA time, he's a good manager but I hope we have got the man who did so well at Southampton and not the one who won't stick all too long in the memory at Reading.

So latest update:

High - 20 - Charlton (2012)
Low - 9 - Scunthorpe (2007) and Norwich (2011)

Glad someone's doing it as I do find it interesting, and I appreciate them going to the effort so I just had to read, but I'm not a huge fan of the new layout.
For example exactly where is the line for last season, you know so we can compare?

EDIT: Ah sorry just read that MobileBlade was just providing more data. Keep it up fellas and grafikhaus hurry up and get your graph online we're nearly at game 10.. Love a bit of data I do.

TB
For all those happy clappers who don't think we have any problems we're already five points off auto.

Will be 20 points come the end of the season if we keep it up.

Plainly we need to improve.
TBF I think this is the most harmonious its been about our squads ability for a fair few years, if ever. There's only BTL who thinks we're world beaters bound as slaves to misfortune.

Oh, and possibly WHF ;)

I think what would be interesting is how far off second we were at this point last season up against how far off second we are this season, if that makes sense, this will tell us a bit more with some good players for our respective league to come back. I don't class myself as any of this happy clapper or slasher shite but i don't think we're as far off as some are making out. Our manager has already made one mistake right in getting McEveley out (eventually), lets give him chance to rectify the mess Cloughy left him. He's got the pedigree Grumps.

I thought we are two points off auto unless you mean grafs graph (chart?) in which we are six off :) Over 37 matches that is not a lot to make up.

If you are comparing with last season, Bristol City were top after 9 games with 21 points, and MK Dons and Peterborough both had 16 points in 2nd place, so in terms of the comparable, I would say we are bang in line with the autos.

Cheers for answering my post :)

Did mean the graph and as projected we fall short so clearly we need to improve.

Luckily it's still September but neverless we need to increase the points tally.

Here the 10 year comparison for league title winners:

20 minutes left, but no way that those spineless cunts masquerading as 'United' will turn this round. On course for 71 points. Just like last season...

We should be a lot better when Che Adams and Matt Done are back in the team. Oh wait...

16 points short of automatic after 11 games, that's 65 points short of automatic at the end of the season.

Wake up clappers, giving them 10 games to see where we are and thinking Adkins will sort it is all bollocks if you don't address the main problems from DAY ONE.

Stuff yer coaching up yer arse Adkins and get in the board room and start banging those fists on the table.
