The first time Wilder came back he had a big job on to win over a lot of the fans, he gave us a bit of fight but we were generally awful defensively for the rest of that season.
Last season he won over a lot of the remaining doubters with a big rebuild and winning football, but his attitude when he started to get criticism in the second half of the season rubbed a lot up the wrong way, so although most fans wouldn't have fired him, many could understand why he was.
This season, a lot of Chris Wilder fans wanted Selles to fail and couldn't accept anyone but Wilder in charge. Now Wilder is back, he has to get results or the fanbase will get even more divided.
Today's game just summed up why he was sacked in the first place, toothless sideways nothing, sloppy defending giving away a goal and substitutions that made the team worse than before. We have to stick with Wilder now whatever happens but he has to find a way to create chances and pick up points quickly or it'll get really toxic.
