He's not, and hasn't been for years. No maybe. Tin hat on!!!Or maybe Wilder isn't actually that good.
Please note I said maybe.
Nice to see people trying to mend bridges…Strange how all the Chris Wilder fans piled onto Sellés after one game, all I here now is give him (Wilder) time.
I honestly can’t think of a more dislikable Utd side than this one, there’s not one player I would shed a tear over if they left. It's time for the players to stand up and take some fucking responsibility.
Piss poor all round. Wankers.
I’m neither for or against Wilder, but looking at the times of these posts, some of you were obviously stood over your keyboard, fingers ready to pounce. Bet you’re loving it with your, ‘I told you so’ comments.
Seems most gave him a couple of days to sort it out. I’m hoping they have put plastic sheets on their beds tonight. The damage here lies on the new owners, shouldn’t have got rid of Wilder in the first place, now he’s left to pick up the pieces and sort this shit show out. It’s going to take time unfortunately and this season will be about consolidating by the looks of it. To go on in on Wilder after the first game is embarrassing.![]()
Tanganga?!I honestly can’t think of a more dislikable Utd side than this one, there’s not one player I would shed a tear over if they left.
Yes, I’ll give you that oneTanganga?!
Sad though isn’t it. The only one who seems to have a bit about him. The awful results of our recent transfer activity laid bare. And still no decent right back or a target man or a half decent back up goalieYes, I’ll give you that one
He must be thinking "wtf have I walked into here". Hope for at least him we come good.Tanganga?!
A very cheeky "sacked in the morning" after the goal from the Charlton fans. Bout the only thing that made me smile all day.
My point is that performance was worse than under Selles, with selles in charge we had shots on target we created chances (at home) under wilder we are so predictable no pace no no target man nothing for anyone to play off, teams set up to defend and then hit us with a goalWhat’s your point then sack him and bring Selles back?. Yes it was very poor still but certainly no worse than what Selles was serving up.
I was expecting a better performance today too but just shows Wilder has got a big task on his hands to get this lot firing again.

The first time Wilder came back he had a big job on to win over a lot of the fans, he gave us a bit of fight but we were generally awful defensively for the rest of that season.
Last season he won over a lot of the remaining doubters with a big rebuild and winning football, but his attitude when he started to get criticism in the second half of the season rubbed a lot up the wrong way, so although most fans wouldn't have fired him, many could understand why he was.
This season, a lot of Chris Wilder fans wanted Selles to fail and couldn't accept anyone but Wilder in charge. Now Wilder is back, he has to get results or the fanbase will get even more divided.
Today's game just summed up why he was sacked in the first place, toothless sideways nothing, sloppy defending giving away a goal and substitutions that made the team worse than before. We have to stick with Wilder now whatever happens but he has to find a way to create chances and pick up points quickly or it'll get really toxic.
It is mate, not only is this squad lacking in quality, they are an absolute bunch of cowards, they look like they’re just here to pick up a large wage. I genuinely can’t stand them.Sad though isn’t it. The only one who seems to have a bit about him. The awful results of our recent transfer activity laid bare. The worrying thing is how similar it was to games last season except that last year we would've won it with a goal out of nothing.
Wilder is complicit in creating this mess in the first place! This is why the board should have gone for a new manager. Can you not recall how shit we were for the majority of last season, especially from around March onwards? The damage here lies on the new owners, shouldn’t have got rid of Wilder in the first place, now he’s left to pick up the pieces and sort this shit show out.
