Don't know him, never met him, only watched a tiny bit of his content. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
Absolutely, you too.

My only concern today is getting the beer to match the glass at some point in the day

My moist vagina couldn’t handle the mismatch so I ordered the beer of the last glass… only to receive a Stella glass

This hasn’t just happened in the latest transfer window. The lack of CBs that needed to be addressed this summer and the lack of quality strikers has evolved over years. As has the quota of crocks that we always seem to accumulate. Who signed Shackleton and what was the point? Why does our squad lack pace? Why is there a shortage of leaders? Why don’t we have decent full backs if we are wedded to four at the back? This is what happens when managers are allowed too much say over transfers. Their interests are understandably short term and the squad reflects that. A strong DoF is definitely needed.
Around half of the team and squad yesterday were acquired in the last transfer window when we signed an extraordinary number of players of limited quality. Don't think anyone would argue with the signings of Cooper, O'Hare, Burrows or Campbell who all started yesterday or Peck who came through last year.
I'm agnostic on Wilder but he wasn't responsible for the huge turnover of players. He was responsible for last season which now looks light years away from this.

The songs don't move me, the crowd around me looked bored. So bored. There was a bloke in front of me who looked so resigned to it all. I felt like saying to him 'why are you here? What's the point of it all? ' But I didn't.
Might have been me.

Over 55 yrs of watching United through thick and thin and yesterday when my son wasn't there because he had to work, and when I was soaking wet and freezing cold on the train home I was just thinking wtf am I doing wasting my Saturdays like this at nearly 70 yrs old.

Sunday morning and I don't feel any different.

Last season we were as boring as fcuk, and don't give me the 92 points, I like to see some action and we've not provided any sort of excitement for years.

Last April I asked my son "shall we renew" and he said of course but come next April there may be a different response unless there is a radical change to the way we approach games in the very near future.

I can live with crap results, heaven knows I've seen plenty of diabolical teams over the years, but I can't live with abject negativity on the park from start to finish and that's all we've had ever since Aston Villa hit us with three late goals to snatch themselves an unlikely draw.

I think Wilder lost his nerve that day, and we've never recovered through all the management changes, and we're now back at square one.

I like Sydie a lot, but I think he is what Eric Cantona used to call a “water carrier.” Sadly we haven’t really got anybody in this team to give said water to.

Sad fact.

You'll never get a Mythos glass that matches the label on the bottle as the unicorns' head always points in the opposite direction on the two.

If you look at the bottle the unicorns' head moulded into the glass will be looking the opposite way to the label too.

Absolutely bizarre, and piss poor branding.

I obviously drink far too much Mythos 🤣

I just wanted the brand to match but now you’ve blown my mind 😂

Finally got the nissos perfection.

Same side that got us 92 points last season! You haven't a clue mate
Only 6 starting players yesterday were part of last season which would suggest it is you that hasn't got a clue, the starting line up is nowhere near last seasons first choice eleven.
92pts is history mate let it go, the Wilder effect had no effect those players showed no backbone last season when it mattered, take experience and quality out and replace it with kids on loan and don't be surprised when the team has even less fight and pride in what they do.

The last time he inherited a spineless bunch of players was Adkins mob and he soon worked out who was up for a fight and who wasn’t. Hoping he is able to use that skill set around this time to save us from relegation.

That's not entirely true. When Atkins left there were no more than 4 or 5 senior pros under contract. He had an absolute blank canvas to work with.

Granted he did absolutely exceptionally well with that canvas but that summer he took over and where we find ourselves now are like night and day.

Might have been me too, but I didn't go as my little grandchildren (aged 5 and nearly 3) were coming for the weekend and I decided not to go, which was one of my better decisions as I had a wonderful time with my family instead! My son was working, and he had a lucky escape too!

I don’t blame you. I will carry on attending because it’s about more than just the football for me, but I’ve come to terms with not expecting to get much enjoyment from what happens on the pitch this season. I’ll take reaching safety at this stage, but it wouldn’t affect my life too much if we went down, it’s hardly as if it’s the first time. I hope that planning for the fundamental restructuring of the club is taking place right now but, as ever, I’m sure more poor decisions will be taken.

That's not what's worrying me about this, it's who is it that's making these decisions ?
It's OK blaming Mr Wilder but it goes deeper than that, for the owners it's all about profit.
I can accept that,
But for me it's that black cloud over my head that will be following me about all week......

I think that some people thought that Wilder would come in and immediately shape us up, judging by the amount of people that thought he’d get us playoffs at least. That was and is unfair. You can’t judge someone on one game alone. I think all this ‘told you so’ nonsense is stupid.

Having said that, attacking invention is something we’ve had a problem with since at least January. I don’t know where the next goal is coming from with this team. That is a problem that I’d like to see addressed.

It’s interesting seeing some people blame the players. I had several people (politely) disagree with me when I suggested there was something of a mentality problem among some of the players, some of them seem to give up easily or are simply disinterested. That has to change.

Still, there were some bright spots. We don’t look so open every time the opposition win the ball back, and Tanganga continues to be impressive. Peck looked decent today too.

Hope we improve. We need to.

UTB
Agreed, we definitely looked more solid, it was just fairly sterile too unfortunately.

It's still an improvement, however marginal. I was almost expecting, probably unfairly in hindsight, a positive result. Going on a losing streak gets in to people's heads and it can be a difficult habit to break.

Really, we desperately need a win against Oxford. That game is so, so important. Wilder will have had a full week with the players in training, he can build off what he's seen against Charlton. We need to sort our creativity problem. We simply don't look like scoring.

Lose against Oxford and I can honestly say I'll begin to panic.

“sterile”

If ever one word summed us up this season and the end of last.

Sad though isn’t it. The only one who seems to have a bit about him. The awful results of our recent transfer activity laid bare. And still no decent right back or a target man or a half decent back up goalie
Not too bothered about the back up keeper as cup runs aren’t going to be important this season. RB was a position that we failed to nail down from the lengthy non signing of Seol Young-woo which by all accounts was a done deal. Even when that didn’t go through we could have gone the “experienced free transfer route” although would have brought our average age up, Joel Ward former Palace RB was available on a free with 330 appearances for Palace he would have done a job for a season. I think we seemed to put all our eggs in one basket and then started filling other positions and square pegs like Godfrey. Target man wise although we haven’t got height we aren’t playing experience, Danny Ings needs to be getting the service and more minutes.

I'd say that's about fair. We kose to Oxford we could potentially be 8 points adrift. Then it really is panic stations. 8 points is not an easy deficit to overturn, especially when you can't buy a win.

If there's not a turnaround very quickly, we are in technical terms, fucked.
